PlasmaAstralProjection

Hi everyone. I have read a lot about astral projection and meditation. I have been meditating recently. I am not one to AP despite my name. I have come close but not yet. Recently I have been having success in focusing myself pretty well in meditation and being in the moment through seeing meditation. Just seeing what is. Whether it's with my eyes closed or open. And I have found different ways of focusing my mind with meditation. This seems to be giving rise to presence in my life slowly. So the other day I read this here.

One Pointed Meditation and your Dream Dot

And so I decided to try it. And I didn't have much success at first but then I found a few ways I could do what I believe they are talking about in the link above or something similar to it. I have just started this and don't have much experience with it. But When I focus my mind a certain way during the day my ego fades and my mind starts getting stimulated I start hearing the audio life stream get louder with the ringing in the ears and my eyes start to flutter and my heart rate goes up, and I get tiered. Now I realize that many of the symptoms can be attributed to APing OR LDing. Again I am not one to think this can happen to me since I have had some success with meditation and very very little with APing, though I do believe in APing and meditation strongly. I find it hard to believe that this can actually go somewhere for me personally because of my health problems. But I suppose anything is possible.

Any of you have some comments on this. I also read paraphrased from Xanth that theoretically you can AP by looking at the blackness of your eyes or it was a mirror and and then astral project. Well I was doing something similar but definitely a little different. If you want I can even go into much more detail of how I do it. But that's probably unnecessary until I actually experiment some more with this. I am not sure where this would go if it goes anywhere. I am excited but cautious. I am not sure if this will lead to astral projecting or lucid dreaming. Any of you guys have thoughts on this.

I am convinced that things like vision therapy and seeing meditation are critical to things like meditation and astral projecting for many people for the simple reason that our brain processes most of our sensory information first from our vision over the other senses.

So two things. do you have any thought on this? And what are some known similar astral projecting techniques.

Thanks, peace.

It sounds like you are doing great.

Meditation is VERY important in learning to AP consciously aware.

You have been showing progress, although it is in "baby steps". It's still progress.

Two things that caught my eye.

Number 1, you should stop saying "my health problems" all the time. When you make this statement you are owning these "problems" and make them even more powerful.

I learned this just recently myself. I have "health problems" as well, but see and feel myself as being in a perfectly healthy vessel.

This kind of "mindset" has shown amazing results lately.

Number 2, have faith that you can succeed. Your post here shows that you believe in it, but not that YOU can do it.

You need to know you can, you do every night when you go to sleep.

You are just having problems doing it consciously aware.

If I were you I would read the stickies in Dreaming Forum here and get familiar with Aping from a LD.

Then once you are familiar with and can "remember" your experiences, you can move on to Aping while totally conscious, without the sleep.

Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

Thy staring at the picture on this link. Imagine that this is an energy portal and your spirit is being slowly sucked in towards the center. Do this right before you go to sleep. Do not expect instant results. Your inner energy needs to rise its vibrations and sort of equalize it with the higher astral frequencies. That can be achieved by a number of techniques including this one, but it takes a while. Just stick to it for at lest two weeks and do it every night for at least 15 minutes. but it is very important to do it as close as falling asleep as possible. Just plain meditation will not produce results. Millions of people meditate everyday, or daydream, but if you don't follow some very important specific rules, not many will succeed with projection, and one of these rules is to do whatever technique you are trying right before and while falling asleep, so that the risen frequency while activated will remain active as you body is naturally falling asleep and produce that conscious awareness we are talking about.

Did you learn this in the NPR or from the physical? (law of attraction etc.)  I ask because I grew up in the Christian Science church and later attended a Word of Faith church that taught that same thing.  Some people got good results --often miraculous ones.  I personally never really could stick with it because denying what I saw with my eyes just felt unnatural and fake.  I have had several spiritual healings but my mind set during them was slightly different than I'd been taught.  It was basically admitting that yea, I'm sick but I am asking for healing and I believe that it won't be denied me.  Ever since I began my NPR journeys I have begun revisiting the teaching I had grown up with.--The "see myself in a perfectly healthy vessel" mind set.  I guess experiencing that reality is not what it seems, made me take a second look.  I have been around this teaching and people that practice it all my life.  However, they get their teachings from books, the bible, etc  so I'm always interested to know what info. people are receiving in the NPR about healing.  Does it validate the faith healing/law of attraction teachings?  Thanks!

I have been told this by some "Energy Workers/Healers", but always dismissed it.

Then I started listening to some interviews by Gregg Braden and he once again affirmed the same concept.

So, I tried or should I say I ALLOWED it to be part of my Reality and have been having great results with it.

You have to truly believe and feel it as such for it to make a difference.

Here's a short interview by Gregg explaining the Power of Visualization".

Thanks for the link, Lionheart. That's some very interesting stuff!!  I know what you mean by "You have to feel it is true."  When ever I have been healed in the past, it is always prefaced by a feeling of believing it is happening, a peaceful feeling that feels like a gift, excitement, or gratitude.
