Hi, I'm wondering which of the three everyone here prefers the most and why. It seems that lately OBEs are way more popular than Astral Projections. I want to know why you think that, or why you still like Astral Projections better, or if you even like Lucid Dreams the best. Or, do you think they're all the same thing?

An OBE as in when you usually start in your room, then explore Earth.
An Astral Projection as in when you travel to the Astral Planes.
A Lucid Dream as in realizing that you're dreaming, and exploring your dreams.

Personally, I like Astral Projection the best, because you get to travel to (what could be) the after life, meet deceased friends, they're easier, clearer and longer for me, etc.

Okay, keep voting, that's great, now why do you prefer one over the other, or think they're the same thing?

Many of these i concider the same thing, its like rooms with doors between them... One can bring you to the other realm and vice versa.  :-)

Yeah, that's how I feel.  I can start in my room and then proceed from there...or I can drift off to sleep while meditating but then become lucid while in a dream...or I can concentrate on a location while relaxing and find myself there.  It's all good.  :-D OH.. I forgot.. I can go to sleep normally and become lucid in a dream or I can just pop right out without effort on my part.  That I don't care too much for because it still shocks me.

Ok with me it's AP, because these have given me the most haunting and thought-provoking experiences.  There's only so much you can do walking around your house....!

At this point in time, I'll take whatever I can get. I haven't had an OBE of any type in quite a while. :-(

What are you doing differently now than then? Even seemingly unrelated things?

I do a bit of both. I have a technique I practice to project, I then roll over and go to sleep, and then (hopefully) wake up in the astral.

I rarely just wake up in the astral, but if I do the mantra and relax for about an hour, I sometimes project once I've fallen asleep.

I can get some amazing projections doing this, but it's not 100% successful.

I would rate these in order, physical- LD, OBE, AP.

leads me to a question please,

I'm guessing that the desire to explore OBE RTZ is a common impulse.

So, can you decide to meditate instead? Physical body in trance, etheric body in trance, leading to ??

How would you "close" your etheric eyes to further meditate?

Since I posted last I had an astral projection doing what you mentioned.
