Hi,
Recently I've been attempting to do a conscious-exit OBE through meditation. I've had some interesting symptoms so far including vibrations, strong pounding in the heart center, and hearing myself snoring. This morning while practicing, though I didn't achieve an exit, I must've heard myself snore at least 15+ times. If you can hear/experience yourself snoring, does this mean for sure that you're in the "Mind Awake Body Asleep" state?

For sure, as long as you actually recognize the fact that you are snoring. It is possible to dream and for the sound of snoring to get into the dream, but if you think "aha that's me snoring" then this is MABA.
Thanks catmeow!
This is great to hear. Sometimes when you think you aren't making that much progress, you actually are but don't realize it. In the past while meditating, I'd heard the random snore here and there, but I'd never had a sustained snoring while meditating. Many people, I imagine, don't snore when they sleep, but in this case, it's fortunate that I do because it's a way to recognize MABA. Otherwise, it might be tough to recognize. Thanks so much for your helpful insight!
By the way, I recently read your post on the validation thread about your visiting your mother in the OBE state, entering through the door, talking to her, and moving things around in the room. It was very interesting!
Cheers,

Yes, and I remember it as if it were yesterday. There are other validations involving my mother which I don't think I have posted, but as a "rational" person, I have to accept that these things happened and something is going on here which current science doesn't understand 8-)
Wow! :-o About 80% of the time when I am meditating or trying to AP I always hear myself snoring. It is at that point I say "Darn it, I'm snoring again!" and then I awaken very frustrated. I never thought that perhaps snoring can be a positive thing and to make me aware of MABA.
I am going to try to "embrace" my snoring to help me to be more aware of when my body is asleep. I just have to convince my wife that my snoring is a good thing :-D
I dont like it when I start snoring. It feels unpleasant and kind of distracting.
I struggle to prop my head up at the right angle. Too far back and I snore. Too far forward and my jaw falls wide open and I drool all over myself which is also pretty distracting.
