Hey guys!

Can any of you give me some tips on how to make these falling sensations really hit hard? I have had some that were very strong. Others I will feel them about to start but then go away. What is the cause of this? It seems that whenever I get the falling sensation I can usually end up going alot further. If I get a really weak falling sensation I usually just start to have that spin around feeling and nothing much really happens after that. But when they hit hard... I even get that pins and needles affect.

Any tips on how to induce more powerful falling sensations?

I appreciate it guys. I am learning so much from this site and am making great headway. :-)

You need to learn to just let things happen. You won't have any success trying to direct yourself to the Astral. At least in the early stages you won't. Frank Kepple said it took 20 years of practice to get where he was. You will find some times you won't have vibrations or hynogog imagery or even falling sensations. That's just the way it is!

Try as many different falling sensations to find the ones that work best for you.

I used to struggle with it too. The best one I could do was jumping down a flight of stairs(a sensation I knewfrom when I was a kid). I'd walk out my door in my mind and jump down the stairs in my stairwell on flight at a time on and on. Not great stopping each time but it was the best I could do.

Then I found I could manage a sinking sensation fairly easily. I'd go out to the middle of the ocean and just sink down into a bottomless trench.

I really wanted to go on one of those straight drop fairground rides but could never find one.

I can kind of manage the skydiving feeling now. Just keep at it. I find visualizing helps. Jump off the edge of a cliff and see it fly away. Try and feel the wind resistance pushing against you. Hear the wind racing past your ears. I find if you get the little details right the falling sensation comes easier.

Hmm, Skydiving has been my hobby for 9 years - not sure if you have done it but there is no falling feeling whatsoever as far as physical senses go!!  The momentum of the plane means you are already moving when you exit.  You kind of fall in a curved L shape as you slowly decelerate but as you are already moving horizontally as you exit, you dont feel a falling sensation at all.  If you skydive from a static object such as a balloon or Heli or BASE jumping then yes, you feel a falling sensation but not from a plane :)  Off topic but I would suggest finding another falling sensation over skydiving because if its from a plane, it doesnt exist ;)

I imagine myself standing on a cliff facing away from it and let myself fall backward. By falling backward, your brain isn't confused by what it expects to see such as the bottom coming up rapidly. That might tend to ruin the effect.  :-D

I considered going skydiving to get a good reference for a falling sensation but I was too scared. Glad I didnt now lol.

You KNOW you're falling, and at a certain height you get "ground rush" where you can notice the ground rapidly getting closer (it appears similar in distance until you get to about 7000ft at which point it rushes at you) but as far as the usual falling sensations you get when falling from a static object caused by the movement of your internal bits (I think thats what causes it anyway!) you dont get that :)
