Have there been any successful experiments done to prove that astral projection and oobes are possible. I've astral projected, so I certainly believe it is possible, but I am writing an article (for Lucidly Magazine, http://www.lucidly.com). I am writing an article about oobes, and astral projection and it would really be good if there was some sort of experiment, test, or study I could reference to without a doubt prove that it IS possible. Does anyone know of any experiment like this?

Also, it should be an experiment that has been done and recorded, not an example of an experiment that someone could do.

No one is every going to be able to prove astral projection is possible, and if someone does then scientists will mark it as invalid like they have done with things along the lines of this for so long. However, if you really want a link this might be of some use to you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astral_projection#Research

So nobody has ever done something like have a friend right 3 numbers on a piece of paper and then they astral project to look at it and confirm it? It seems so simple, and I can't believe nobody has done it.

Most research seems to have been done by Charles Tart:

A subject called Miss Z read a 5 digit number, though the protocol was flawed, and another famous subject Ingo Swann had some success too.  Hope this helps!  :-)
