My spiritual eyes and physical eyes seem to be locked together.

The last few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind for me. I had my first lucid dream about 3-4 weeks ago, and I've had almost daily experiences since. I've experienced different levels of lucidity, anywhere from knowing I was dreaming to experimenting within a dream. My dream recall has improved tremendously. I've woken up into sleep paralysis. I've actually fallen back into lucid dreams after waking up into sleep paralysis.

Today, I became lucid enough to realize that I was dreaming, but unfortunately I woke up quickly after becoming lucid. Or so I thought!! I woke up in a bed that wasn't mine and remembered that Reece Jones talked about dreaming within a dream. And that made me realize I was still lucid, but on a different level. I was so happy! But this time, I woke up into sleep paralysis. I knew where I was and how I was laying in bed. So I decided to try and have an OoBE. After some wiggling, it was as if I lifted out of my body feet first, then my legs, and then they rest of my body, except my head/eyes. I was hanging upside down, my hands hanging down and my eyes closed. I felt a very very strong wind as well. I just hung there for a bit, and then I decided I wanted to see what was going on. So I opened my "spiritual" eyes, but this woke my physical body.  I have had several OoBE's and Astral Projections, (but it has been a while (7-8 months)), so I know what they are and how they feel. Is it actually possible to get a OoBE out of sleep paralysis? Or am I trying a wrong method here?

Also, one big stumbling block for me seem to be my eyes. My spiritual eyes seem to be locked with my physical eyes. Does anybody have any suggestions to overcome this?

Absolutely.
Most times when I wake to find myself in paralysis like this, its usually from already being out and getting shot back to my body. Yet its hard to understand cause im not fully back. If I open my eyes I can see n feel my physical body laying there but if I try move my physical arms, I'll be moving my astral arms -and I can see them. Its like looking at myself with 4arms.
When this happens I can either end the experience by really tryn hard to move my physical body and after a few attempts it will be successful -or- I will close my eyes and make sure I never lose awareness, give it like 10 or 15 seconds and then just situp and i'll be using my astral body and be in full control of it.

This is a foggy state to be in. Its hard to remember everything. Chances are you were having an obe before you awoke to find yourself like this but you just dont remember. When you find yourself in this position its harder to remain aware going back to the obe but its definitely possible. Just remember when this happens to try not to move much. You can test things out like I have and try to see if you can move your astral parts with your eyes slightly open so you can see them while your paralyzed body lies there, but dont try to hard, cause you can end it.

Another thing when you find yourself like this, the separation is a little different. Cause your already kinda out. The way I can explain it is if I was going to bed at night and im tryn to induce an obe i'll lay there and until I get the vibration exit, which also brings paralysis along with it. When the vibration ends I will exit, situp with my astral body and be on my way.

But when you awake to find yourself in paralysis its different. You just have to close your eyes and wait like 10 seconds. There will be no vibration. Maybe because your already somewhat out and using your astral body, I dont really know. You have to stay aware though. Cause like I said things will be kinda foggy and you can tell yourself your gonna stay aware and then seconds later you drift off. If all goes good and you remain calm and stay aware you should be able to exit no problem.

From time to time, nights that I stay out a long time this will happen. But even if you just awake to find yourself like this, and dont remember anything before it, know that this is a perfect time to easily achieve an obe. Also when I said you just have to close your eyes and wait 10 seconds then exit, this would be a perfect time to use the rope technique or whatever technique you use to get out. I dont really have a technique, I just wait those couple seconds to make sure my body is fully asleep again as i stay aware then I situp/separate/exit. But yeah if you dont want to try that than use the rope technique instead of just waiting, cause it will probably help keep you aware as well.

About your eyes, just open them when you feel yourself getting out. There might be vision already but just open them when you feel yourself moving around after you get up, cause once your moving around youl know your controlling your astral body.
