Is it almost impossible to project when there are constant noises going on around you?
And is it best to try to OBE in the morning right when you wake up?

Noises can be distracting and keep you from getting into the necessary relaxed state. Especially if the noises are bothering you.

Waking up in the middle of the night is probably the best time to project. The body can be more easily relaxed after a few sleep cycles.

To someone who isn't experienced with controlling the mind it could be. You can project while being exposed to any sensory input as long as you are disciplined enough to focus away from it all.

If you had a full night's sleep the morning isn't such good time to attempt (though anytime is a good time to meditate.) You need to wake up pretty early while you're still tired and wanting sleep. Stay awake for maybe a half hour and attempt.

Ok, it makes sense to do it in the middle of the night or very early, that way no one is around to make noises, and i'm already completely relaxed from being asleep. I'll definitely start doing it this way from now on. Thank you.
