Title: Sources for more information?
Post by: ryan1337 on November 13, 2011, 00:43:11
Hey guys,
So i've read through most of Monroe's stuff, and obviously most of the stuff on this forum :] It's all been really helpful. I have an insatiable appetite for hearing about OBE's and I was wondering if anyone could point me towards maybe a good book or website for even more.

William Buhlman's first book is fine (esp. for beginners).
The "Lucidology" Vids on YT (or his courses on offer) by Nick Newport are good.
Radruga's obe4u website and pdf-book is good.
Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics is fine. Also his board.
For good theories, read Tom Campbell or watch his vids on YT.
Kurt Leland's "The Multidimensional Human" is great, also his website.
Robert Peterson (also online!), Rick Stack, Albert Taylor or the "classic" by Sylvan Muldoon are other interesting options for a good read.

Oliver Fox if we're talking about "classics" too. The interesting  thing about Fox, who was essentially a lucid dreamer, is that he generated a full blown AP from a lucid dream by simply refusing to wake up.  In the LD he resisted the "pull", as he called it, to wake up for as long as possible. He developed a headache doing this (I think) then there was a "click", suddenly the headache disappeared and he found himself "locked out" of his body. The "click" marked the conversion of his LD into an AP. Now I suspect you're going to ask me the difference between LD and AP? How I see (and experience) it:

LD = restricted consciousness (dream like), unstable (fluctuating) environment, largely private (personal) experience
AP = full consciousness (wide awake), stable (unshifting) environment, public (shared) experience
OBE = as AP but RTZ
