I'm not quite sure what's up with spirit guides, but who are they? How/when exactly can they help me during and after ap? Jw, cuz i'm wishing someone would help me experience my first conscience obe. Could i even call out one of you on this forum to come help me??

Nobody can really "help" you in that sense...
The only kind of help we can provide come in the form of tips and techniques which you can use to help yourself out. :)
yeah Spirit guides-- i guess they exists but i dunno ---i will find out when i get OOBe. if i actually have one, that would be nice! and comforting! :-)
but me and my friend r planning to project together so we can travel together and help each other out~ :-D
My spirit guide's name is Peter. Everyone has one, don't give up if you haven't met yours yet. :-)

Being an old guy who's journeyed in the realms for a long time, over 35 years, I can offer a simpler way to look at Guides.
What everyone calls their Guide, you know the main Spirit Guide you hear about, well that is really you. Just a higher level of awareness type you. It symbolises the Soul you are.
And you have some other guides who I call Helpers. They are Souls you made agreements with to create things. Things that are meant to help you when you are living in 3D with only a small amount of awareness.
Meeting and communicating with your Spirit Guide... Higher-Self... is not a hard thing to do, just everyone says it is.
If you use the link I posted earlier you can read about methods to meet your Guides that works for most people.

I have regular experiences with my spirit guides. At first (when I first started projecting, 3 years ago) they were just present in my room. Then I started to meet them, and ask for them. Now, when I ask for them, they take me to a field, where I recognize them and hug them. Sometimes I go there (to the field) then there is a big popping sound and a flash of light. I don't know what that means, but I'm sure they are guiding me along my journey through the astral. I've talked to them a few times, asking why I can't go to certain areas and why I can go to others. One of them is a husband from a past life, and we've discussed this fact several times. He's the first one I ask for when I ask to see my spirit guides. My sister is always trying to project-and is curious about her spirit guides. I encourage her to start slow, ask to see them, get to know them.
