Practice, Practice and more Practice.  Victory belongs to those who believe in it the most. At first many times you still fall asleep. In time conscience willing yourself to stay awake will work. Tips.  Be well rested, don't lye in sleeping position also visualize with third eye. Time to reach trance varies with the person. I have read that if you lye in bed and position your arm raised while trying at attempt trance as you fall asleep your arm wil fall and awaken you.  Read books on AP and read this forum, there is alot of knowledge here. There are alot of good books on meditation. Good luck.

First off: Keep on practicing the night time and whenever techniques.  This will help.

Ok...

What I think is the easiest, and that works for a lot of people is what is called the "hypnoPOMPIC method, the Lazy Mans Method" etc...

1. You are going to want to perform your regular AP routine at night anyways, even if it doesn't work. It's good practice regardless, and will keep the idea of APing fresh in your mind.

2. This method is to be done in the hypnoPOMPIC stage. (Do not confuse this term with hypnoGOGIC) This (hypnopompic) is the stage where you are half-asleep after you've woken up.  You know how when you first wake up you feel half asleep and if you try to shave or do something else you horribly screw it up? Try setting your alarm a few hours earlier than normal. When it goes off, set it back the way it needs to go (if you will still need the alarm to wake up for work/school/etc).

3. After waking up, go do something mundane for a little while so that you can kick your brain back into logic-mode. Go have a drink of water, a cigarette, whatever, take a leak. But you do NOT want to wake up all the way!  You just want your logic side to kick in.

4. Lay back in bed and try to fall asleep.  But mean while use this time that you have to breif yourself. APing should have an objective of some sort, come up with an objective. What I tell myself is what I call pre-flight breifing ^_^ I say, "I'm going to project,I'm going to do _________, and __________, if __________ then I'll ___________"  I basically develop a short protocol on how I will handle any situations that could surprise me, and figure out what i'm going to do during this "outing".

5. Get back into bed and do your AP proceedure as normal, but focus on letting yourself go back to sleep. Mind Awake/Body asleep will happen quickly because your body will naturally want to get back to sleep. This makes it very easy. Just remember to focus on paying attention to the process and things you will feel as you fall asleep.

6. Vibrations should come very quickly. Infact they may be very-very intense. This could startle you but it's okay.

7. You might feel like the vibrations are causing you to shift planes and you should become sort of numb yet very vibratory. You might even feel as if you are spinning wildly.

8. Just stick with it, and you should find yourself in another plane, it feels as if waking up from the dream that is physical reality.  If it doesn't go that far for you try one of the exit techniques, rope, roll out, jumping etc.

I was able to project in under a minute using this technique. It may surprise you that it can be that simple. It may or may not work for you, but for those that have been trying other night-time methods may have better success with this.

Yeah I know i'm lazy, and copied it from another post I made on another forum. haha.

Sorry for the bad grammar and spelling. I'm in a hurry.

Here are some questions:

1 Ok, I wanna know which trancetech is the absolutely easiest for beginners.

2 What's the best way to keep conscious when you're trancemeditating?

3 How fast do You fall into trance?

4 Do You keep "mind awake" when You're going to sleep at night to hit a trance, and how do You do?

Cheers from the cold forests of Sweden
