Stopping OBE's

Probably varies for the individual - I tend to sleep more than project, but project (or find myself projected) occasionally.  Very very occasionally I need to sleep more deeply than I am doing of my own accord.

For me, the scales can be tipped by simply setting my personal intent. Maybe journaling to myself the importance of sleep (or projection, depending on the current 'need.')

It sounds like your scale tips towards becoming aware of projection. Spend five minutes journaling before bed, about whatever's bugging you (sort of settles the mind, and communicates to your subconscious that you wish for a good night's sleep).  Then go to bed with the comfortable but firm intent to have a good night's sleep. Not strained intent,  but authoritative comfortable intent.

Over time you will probably notice more rest-filled nights and fewer wakeful nights.

A heavy meal doesn't hurt, either.

A while back I read that it is easiest to project while lying on your back and best to do so on your right side. Sleeping on your left side is supposed to block an OBE.

right now I havnt been having many,I had a short one last night. Its been a week or so since my last. What I have been doing different.Ive been going out alot more and havnt been doing as much energy work. And not much meditation either. If you lay off energy work a lil.I think it would help you sleep deeper.

Try doing some activitys.I went out with my mountain bike not to long ago. That night I had a really deep sleep. Before I started doing diff. things, I was out of body almost every night.

Try all the other suggestions given here..If it doesnt work try to find a position that works for you.My last one I was on my left side.I had the intentions of going out though. It was way too short and dark and I felt the whole exit this time.It was like I was made out of rubber,I bent around my girlfriend..lol,It doesnt really matter for me.Ive projected from pretty weird positions.Try to sleep on your stomach,it seems harder for me this way.

At one point I thought I may never sleep normal again. But im sleeping fine now,no worrys.....:)

Hi,

Is there anyway to stop OBE's or do we just naturally float above our bodies when we sleep? Often wake up and find myself seperating and pulling upwards or sideways and then can't sleep again which is a bummer as i need my shut eye.
