Two nights ago I had a very unusual dream. In this dream I was aboard a commercial jetliner waiting to take off. When the plane did start to go airborne the scene changed to an uphill city street. The aircraft taxied through a large gate and then increased speed, eventually going airborne on top of the hill.

Thinking about this dream after waking up in the morning I seriously considered the idea that it was actually a full (or partial) OBE with only dream consciousness.

Does anyone else regularly have dreams of flying? I tend to have Many flying dreams and in most of those dreams I fly alone without Any mechanical devices (like airplane, helicopter, balloon). Most of these are obviously only a dream and nothing else. Yet some flying dreams are special and seem to be unconscious/dream conscious OBEs.

Last night I had a dream that I was the co-pilot of an f-14 fighter jet. And a few nights ago I dreamed that I was a ghost flying inside a rather large mansion, and a few days before that, I dreamed that I was flying in air force one with my head sticking out one of the windows... some of them are rather odd.

I think they're fairly common for everyone from what I've read. As to whether or not it was an OBE, I cant say... don't have enough experience in that area lol.

I used to work on cargo planes that open the ramp and door to drop boxes and equipment and never remembered dreams about doing that until a few years later.

This was I guess a lucid dream that became something like remote viewing of earth terrain.

My dream starts in the back of the aircraft, then the ramp opens revealing the view of flying over the land at altitude.

Then I know it's a dream, then the view of the terrain becomes completely vivid and real.

Then I kind of figure out whats happening and I'm able to walk over the door opening and just look down at the terrain while floating in the air without any fear.
There's another person there, maybe a helper or a guide, giving me confidence.
( in real life you're attached to a safety strap to prevent you from walking out of the open door)
