Did I finally have a OBE?

I dont want to get too excited but I had a really strange experience. As some know I've been trying to Astral Project and I get close to mind awake=body asleep, and never quite make it over due to some movement or the other (Breathing in my case, i feel like my lungs stop and i take a breath). But I *think* I had a Sense induced projection.  I was doing my visualization practice as I do every night, and the last thing i remember was being in my 'special place' watching the moon. Then It seemed like I woke up as I was in my bed, on my side like when I fell asleep, and I had my full awareness and did a quick reality check and I didnt wait for anything, I grabbed that imaginary rope and was pulling myself free and it worked, There was a odd sensation as it was happening then *pop* and I was standing next to my bed.  Having read so much about this, I knew it was important not to get too excited about anything so i stayed calm and casual, and did clearify and it worked and I could see, then I walked out through my window and I was on my street, but it was empty, no portals, no people or entities. It was a bit disappointed how dead it was.  So again not to waste energy, i tried to teleport to my neighbors house and ended up down the block at someone else's house but it was strangely empty, which annoyed me since i know how short these trips can be, so I walked back up the street since telelporting wasnt working, and I bumped into some kids though I didnt really pay attention to them. Honestly, I was trying to focus on where the adventurous spirits and beings where, and as I finally made it to my neighbors house from that walk, and i was back in my bed and woke up all vibrate-y.

It was probably a 15-20 minute experience and despite being disappointing at not making contact with anything, it was still amazing, I've never felt so free and able to go anywhere before. But the question is, did I finally do it? I wonder because people usually talk about seeing demons or people right away, and I had no welcoming comittee. If It was a true OBe.. I think im offended no "demon" or shadow people or what not felt the need to try to spook me, not that I'd be afraid, after growing up on buffy the vampire slayer, star trek and video games, I yawn now at such creatures.

What you've described sounds typical. Well done! You'll soon become adept with the basics and the way things function.
You're already scarey to the baddies so don't expect them. Given time you'll be sent on a mission or two. Thats where the fun starts.

Sounds like you had a typical RTZ (Real Time Zone) experience. The RTZ can be a bit lonely, as you described. Well done! You're definitely on track.

The character in Vamplena's posts shows strength. I doubt very much she can be pushed around easily. This mindset is excellent for oobe's generally. The reports of negative entities attaching and draining etc are rare if at all from those with this mindset. These entities are looking for weaker minded easily influenced targets.
I would think Vamplena would have to find them rather than they her.

Nothing offensive intended, I rarely get things way out of perspective. You will succeed and become familiar with the different way it works out there.
