First experience of pre-obe sensations

Hi

A few nights ago I dreamed that I was dying and then I suddenly felt like I was dying for real and felt what I think is vibrations. I felt very powerful, strange and buzzing and I really thought that I was going to die. I got afraid and wanted to wake up which I did.

This caught me by surprise and I couldn't imagine the vibes feeling like this, it was more intense than I've imagined them to be.

So my question is if anyone else have been sensing anything similar and if anyone could help me understand what happened.

It sounds like vibes to me. The first time I experienced them it scared the living daylights out of me. And even several times after, when I knew what they were. It's like you have high-revved engines attatched to every part of your body. If you've never felt them before, it's easy to think it's a medical thing. Spooky, but you get used to it.

It's a fairly common thing that happens to OBErs, though not to every one and not every time.  I've been projecting spontaneously since I was little, and only started feeling vibes about 6 years ago.  The first time, as with Stookie, it scared the living poop out of me.  After I learned to induce OBE it happened about 3 more times.  Those were enjoyable because I knew what was happening and was able to use them to get out.  I haven't had vibes now in about 2 months, and wonder if I will again. So You Too Can Learn To Like Them! (I sound like an Infomercial). :thumbsup:

Thanks Stookie and Cft for your answers, seems like I can come to use and like those vibes and it feels better to know what it is I'm experiencing.
