Your first symbol is very similar to something I have seen 3 times when I've been out of body.
I see a purple solid circle with an outer ring (also purple, also solid).
If you were to colour your small circle in with purple and then colour in the most outer ring in purple (leaving the second/middle ring black), that would be my symbol.
I've no idea what it means. I don't think it really matters what it means. It may be an astral doorway and if you were to move into the symbol and through it, you might find yourself in the astral world.
It's very interesting though. It's the closest picture I've seen to my purple thing.
As an aside, I don't get vibrations (well I might, but I don't feel them). [:)]

I don't know if this was the case with you, but I didn't see it as something that was there in front of me, like something you could move into. I saw it as just kind of being in front of my vision. In the way. Like, if I looked up or down it would move with my view. Kind of like the ammo/life info on a first-person-shooter video game. There was nothing filled in on either of mine, though the second symbol (that one really caught my attention, for some reason) might have had a faint black outline.

Okay, I just signed up today. I'm asking about something that I don't remember reading about in the Astral Dynamics book.
I haven't been out fully, but it won't be long now. I can kinda feel it. I've (unintentionally) had exit sensations a couple of times, though.
First time was during a "remote-eye projection." I think that was what it was called. I was laying on the couch and was also a few blocks away at the high school. Suddenly, I notice that I'm feeling vibrations in my arms and legs, and my remote-eye is seeing this thin, shimmering, baby-blue circle-within-circle-within-circle. I had a feeling I was looking at a visual representation of the buzzing sound. There might have been more circles than three.

The other day I did something during a lucid dream that made me wake up to strong vibrations. The second time ever that I've felt/heard vibrations. Right in front of my eyes was this strange symbol. If anybody has any input about these symbols, or symbols during vibrations in general, it would be greatly appreciated.
