Strong Shaking Sensation

I sometimes get a strange sensation when I am in a relaxed state.  I wouldn't consciously instigate it, it would just happen naturally.  If I am relaxed and headed towards sleep, I would often get a sensation that I am shaking back and fourth in every direction as if attached by a rubber band to midpoint on my physical body.  Sometimes they were subtle, but often they were very strong motions.  What was this?

Thanks, Patrick

Hi,

This topic of vibrations is in several other threads ~~>

Quote from: InwardI hear a lot of people talk about hearing vibrations, but I wanted to explain what is meant by vibrations. Just about everyone can hear a whistle in the head if they really listen and they can willfully increase that to a very loud whistle till it sounds like it's going to make them death. That's not obe vibrations. OBE vibrations are something that's felt through out the body. Vibrations are not something you hear. It's not that whistle a person hears. Sometimes the vibrations are only felt in the head, but the difference between that and hearing the whistle is like day and night.
Quote from: InwardFeeling is definitely something not limited to the physical body. I'm sure a lot of projectors here have felt with their astral body. In fact, I know from personal experience that you can actually feel pain from the astral body and that astral body can be damaged.

I was just trying to distinguish the well-known whistle / winning noise people often hear. Doctors say the noise is caused by blood flowing, but that's the only explanation they know of. I'm not sure that's really it. I know that if you take a sensitive microphone and place it up against a line that is flowing some liquid such as water that you don't hear a whistle unless there's something disrupting the flow. You can use a stethoscope to hear just how flowing blood sounds. The whistle noise that I hear in the head is purer and closer to a pure sine wave. Also, people can increase this noise at will, to such a degree that it can become very loud. Still, this seems to be very different from the vibrations.

I have both felt and heard these vibrations.

With regards to the sine waves heard within the ear canals... Maybe this sound is actually the vibration at which we reside at whilst harboring physical bodies. Beings everything is just a matter of energy vibrating at different frequencies; hence, physical matter vibrating at a very low frequency thereby gaining the capability of taking on physically tangible forms. Maybe the frequency of this sine wave heard within the ears is in direct correlation to our soul's frequency/vibrational levels and only needs to be upped a few tones to be in contact with realms of higher frequencies. When considering the notion that energy is the same as/equal to mass times the speed of light squared, it leaves one to conclude that since we are in fact all "mass", that in essence, if we could somehow reach the speed of light squared that we would in fact become raw energy. In hindsight, beings we are already a form of energy vibrating at an extremely low rate in order to take on physical characteristics it leaves one to conclude that we only need to raise our already existent energy levels in order to become this raw energy... Maybe that noise heard within our ears is in fact our own internal energy at work.

Hi mjolnir_knight

As Inward has said, you experienced the "famous" vibrations.  Use the search function and you'll find hundreds of references to them.

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

I am sure that it wasn't vibrations, dead sure.  I have only experienced those once and believe me, I was sure what they were.  This was something different.  If any of you have used the rocket technique (where you concentrate on the pulsing in front of your eyes and you are rocketed out of your body) it felt similar to what you feel there.

Vilkate

Knight, there are many kinds of vibrations - I've felt light ones, strong ones, shaking ones and shocking ones. Maybe you just experienced a kind you hadn't encountered with before?

By the way, this was long before I knew much of the supernatural and believed less of it.  (Ghosts was about as far as I knew and I dismissed it as bogus.)  It would happen randomly like I was falling asleep in the car once and I all of a sudden got the feeling that my entire body was being shook back and fourth.  It wasn't scary or anything, just weird.

I guess you could be right, Vilkate.  The thing was that I didn't consciously induce them.  Like in the post before this, I knew absolutely nothing of this stuff.  Tops, I was ten years old (I'm 14 now).

I just now read your post.  Um, holy crap?  *Drops jaw*.  (Are you a physicist?)  However, I do get what you are saying.  On that matter, I had a theory, however.  Since it is (more or less) common belief that all matter is energy as you stated, would it be possible to somehow exert mental force on an object in the astral plane and lower it's vibrational level to that of the physical, hence creating a physical form of said object?

The Beach Boys wrote a song about them in "Good Vibrations".

Look up "apports" -- here's an example: http://www.survivalafterdeath.org/photographs/harrison/4.htm

Ectoplasm is supposedly the first stage of transformation of etheric matter into physical matter. I haven't seen reports of it happening without channeling spirits, and it supposedly takes even more energy from both the medium and the spirit to apport small objects than it takes to create ectoplasm.
