Success seems closest when I'm not about to try.

There are times when I am at work, in a store, or on my way somewhere when it seems like I am just on the edge of being able to project successfully. It feels as close as the next chance I will get to try it. The mood is right and the energy seems to be there. When an actual opportunity to try to project arrives, all of these good feelings go away. It always starts out by wondering how long I will wait before giving up again. It is starting to bother me that astral projection seems closest when there is no opportunity to try to do it and farthest from me when I am about to try to do it.
