Title: sun sightseeing
Post by: blull on February 18, 2005, 08:42:25
Well, I was working with some bwgen, and I woke up early this morning, and decided to AP.  I had read something on the forums, about traveling to the sun and I thought "That might be fun," so I started flying up, and used my will to get me to a spot just right off the sun.

The strange thing is, the sun is soooo hot!  It wasn't like - incinerate your skin hot, but I felt burning heat radiating off of it especially onto my hands.  I actually turned my back towards the sun at one point, so that my hands wouldn't get burned.  I didn't realize you could feel this type of sensations?!  Also it seemed that my hands were the main receptors of this feeling.

On a side note, that was so amazing, I could see 'energy' waves just rising and falling off the surface, and it was very bright, but not soo bright that I couldn't look at it like it would be with your eyes. More like a yello-orange bright.

Sounds awesome - what preset were you using?!!

Heard the other guy who went to the sun was going to try fly through it on his return. This sounds even more crazy now.

Nooooo, not gonna try that... sounds like that might actually hurt.  It was pretty hot just getting near it.  Im using "astral projection without fail, v2"  Its wierd... but its never gave me vibrations or exit symptoms while using it.  It does have the wierd effect of waking me up at like exactly 5am in the perfect condition to go ahead and project -_-;

Interesting concept...  I once ponder what would if you someone would Astral travel to a black hole. Would it suck them in as well?  Not sure I would want to test that theory.  One of my secondary reasons to explore Astral projection is to explore the wonders of space. Since I doubt I will ever get a chance of actual space travel in my lifetime. AP seems the only ticket available to me.  Heres to reaching the stars and back!

Although I don't use the bwgen(what it it anyways?),I have travelled to the sun,and out into deep space,but blull must have been closer to it than I was willing to go at the time, because I didn't notice any heat.I wonder-could the heat sensations be a product of expectation? I read about one of Robert Monroes experiences about penetrating into the centre of the sun,which is much hotter even than the surface.

And a side note about deep space travel-even at mindblowing speeds,the distances involved to negotiate space travel are truly incomprehensable.Willing yourself to a particular location in the distance is probably your best bet,unless you just want to experience the sensation of travelling in space,which is amazing in any case.

That is possible maybe, a product of my expectation.  I was very close though, like maybe 50 feet off the surface.  I havn't read much of monroe's work, but might be an interesting read.

50 feet from the surface? :shock:

I think I was probably about a couple hundred thousand miles away.:lol:

I would really suggest reading Robert Monroes writings on the subject of OBE.He wrote "Journeys Out of the Body"-a classic in the field,and the book the opened to me the infinity of the OBE experience.
