Vibrations

It's been a while since I've posted here.
Anywho, along time ago I tried to OBE, but I gave up after afew weeks, I got to the stage of vibrations.
Anyway, my 'friend' has lately been doing some (misc) drugs, all ofcourse legal, which also produced
    the same vibrating effects but just more easily, I produce them in the same way I normally produce them.
Can someone experienced at OBE tell me what this means?

The out of body experience is simply bringing awareness and control to otherwise normal processes that happen when we fall asleep. There's about a million topics about drugs here, so I do not feel it is necessary to provide a comprehensive explanation ; drugs artificially alter your mind and body and can produce unexpected effects. The practice of astral projection is generally viewed as safe, the use of drugs is not.

If you can induce vibrations without drugs then you are better to do it that way. You don't want your subconscious mind to become reliant on a drug to exit your body.

If you are experiencing vibrations you are very close to projecting, so keep it up. The effort will pay off.

I agree with A_M.  I would much rather achieve OBE without the use of drugs to induce it... surely you would feel a much bigger sense of achievement if you knew you did it all on your own???

Most hallucinogenic drugs can induce AP can't they? I know Acid/LSD can open up your chakras.

I remember reading a theory once that was about skizophrenia. It was to do with the the crown chakra opening to information from the astral realm. Basically without all the other chakras in balance the individual coulndnt handle it.

Schizophrenia sure is a weird thing. I wondered whether it was the two hemispheres of the brain that had different personalities. Also I wondered whether it was more than one spirit sharing the same "Physical Shell".

I definately think theres more than meets the eye with schizophrenia... perhaps it's different for different people (Just a guess).
