Possible to know where someone is on earth?

Seriously, I would tend to think it is possible, although remembering the details of where they were and then finding that place in the physical could be a challenge.  

One interesting thing to consider from my own experience was when I did an AP and wanted to go visit my father who had recently died.  It seemed to take a LOT longer to get there than it seemed like it should have.  When I did get there, he was a young man (almost a kid, maybe 19-20) playing basketball with my uncle who had also passed away several years ago.  Neither one of them could see me when I tried to get their attention.  None of this probably sounds all that unusual to people used to AP, but it is worth mentioning that in this projection...when I "arrived" and saw him, I had the distinct impression that I was not seeing him in the astral, but that instead for some reason I had actually gone back in time and was seeing him in the physical.  I have no way to verify that, but I believe it to be true.  In the other APs I have seen him in, he seems somewhat older than he did in this one (maybe 25-30ish?).  When I decided to see him, my "intention" was to see him in the astral as a spirit.  My point here is that maybe, even when you DO find someone in the physical, there is no guarantee that you are finding them in the exact same point in time continuity as your physical body is in?

Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

The technique of scrying is the ability to tell where someone is and what there doing at any given time. This is how I do it:

1. Get a mirror and a candle, and light the candle and place it next to the mirror, then turn out all the lights, so there is only enough dim flickering light to make out your face in the mirro.

2. Close your eyes, and think as hard as you can about the person your trying to find.

3. Slowly Open your eyes, and if you did it right, you should see them in the mirror.

It takes lots of practice, and Ive only gotten it to work twice in almost a year of trying [8D]

If I'm not mistaken, black magic is the act of using occult powers (telepathy, PK, astral projection, clairvoyance, etcetcetc) for selfish or trivial ends and as an advantage over normal humans.
I'm unsure what the karmic results of stuff like that would be

But I think maybe I'll try anyway >_<

I'm sure if the intention is pure and not trivial spying or violation of privacy it would be okay.

I was not suggesting using it, I was just wondering if it could be done []  It was just something I thought of in my odd little brain.  I think about a lot of things in my spare time, just like most people do.  I don't think I will ever try to use it, I just wanted to know if it could be done.  If it can, then why can't we find Osama or Saddam? Just interesting stuff![]

There are no astral police. You do not loose any abilities from "misusing" such talents. But there are natural laws. If you are being sneaking, devious, mean, etc you will cultivate these things within you. Just like if you try being loving, helpful, etc you will cultivate these things within you and they will develop making you a more loving, helpful person. You reap what you sow. There is no reason why you should use such talents to locate someone if you are able. You can judge for yourself if your intent for doing so is worth while or not, but do not fear loosing talents because of using them.

Hi all!

Is it possible to actually know where someone is on earth?  Say I lost my brother in Chicago, but I was in Ohio, would i be able to find out where he is during meditation/ap/obe?  I was thinking about this on my drive home from work(thank god i didn't try to AP during my drive! )  But I just wanted to know!  Thanks for the replies I may/maynot get [:O]
