hello friends...i got into astral projection a few months ago.i meditate everyday and try to get out of my physical body but had no luck so far. Ill share my method so that u guys can see what i m doing wrong.

I can reach the body asleep mind awake state in 15-20 minutes. I can also feel the vibrations and sleep paralysis but  i always have problem when it comes to exit. I try different methods like rolling out of the bed and doing the ladder technique.. but it feels like my astral body is stuck to my physical body like a magnet. i try to focus my attention on some technique and it feels like i m going to that location physically but in the end i m still lying there on my bed with no success whatsoever. For example..i tried to roll out of my body today i felt like i was so close to experience the astral world..but it didnt happen. So my question is that what exactly do u guys experience and do when your body is taking an exit.do i have to imagine a ladder and climb it and feel it? or do i imagine a rope hanging from above in my room..?? and how would i know that i am out of my body? will i see my room or will i be in some place else. also i use binural tones and listen to them on my headphones when i m trying to ap. are the headphones stopping me to have an obe cause they are a little tight.. :-P.everytime i try to do ap, i feel like i m very close but it all ends sadly .all these questions are bugging me for months cause i had no success. I would really appreciate help and feedback from u guys. thanks in advance

Work on relaxation. As an exit method, i prefer the rope. It's easy and effective. All you have to do is feel the rope hanging above you. Feel it under your hands, your muscles strain as you pull your body up .Feel your body rise. When you project you're first feelings will be an increase in your senses. Everything will feel clearer, but hazy at first. You'll end up in the RTZ at first, but eventually drift to the realm. You'll be in your room, by your physical body. You don't need binaural beats.

thanks for the reply..wats RTZ??..i tried your technique and it was better than my earlier ones. I wasnt successful but i felt the vibrations more strongly when i was trying to hold the rope and trying to get out. My eyes started vibrating like a cellphone..:P....so i changed my technique and started some other 1s....am i doing something wrong here or do i need more relaxation..??

RTZ is Real Time Zone. It's like a copy of what you see around you right now. No, you're not doing anything wrong. Just keep working at it. Since you are going by vibrations, wait until they are at "maximum" than do the exit method.

The rope does not work try just relaxing and than u will somtimes be out and not realize it but your mind might completly blank out and blow the whole thing

The rope does not
You can't just say something like that bluntly. Some things work for others, and some things don't. When you give an opinion, let them know. When you're talking about a method, and it doesn't work for YOU. Than say " it doesn't work for me"

If youre struggling to visualise a rope. Then perhaps you could try physically hanging a rope over you. Then imagine youre grabbing hold of it to pull you out.

Hi rachit89,

"When" do you usually practice?

The rope technique can be altered as well. You could be climbing a mountain, or climbing a vertical net, holding onto a ski rope as the boat shoots off. There are a ton of varients. Sometimes the rope technique gets boring or you just aren't comfortable with it. The mountain climbing is fun because if you feel it for real there is a possiblity you will see it as well. I tried a windmill before which was definitely an experience. I focused on a windwill with it's turbines turning, then grabbed on to it, the feelings of being spun around and around were definitely intense. It's fun to experiment with a number of different things, then write about it after you are finished.

Just to add to what everyone said, I don't start doing an exit method until I am feeling some sort of exit sensation- so I do trance work and visualizations and when I get whatever sensation (such as the vibes) then is when I start tugging on the rope.
