A while back someone here posted a link to http://www.farsight.org/ and told us that they offer a free course in remote viewing. Someone I know who started the course seemed to like it, but quit before getting any results.

Hi Tom, I was referring to find a way similar to the RV approach but for OBE/AP .   I mean we don't go through steps before getting OBE, we WAIT for the event to happen. If we could think up a way to go trough steps one-by-one, and those steps should be recurring every time we do it. We need some kind of new ways that will allow OBE(S) to have a logical(To the brain) method so we could have OBE we every we want. I guess this OBE is not completely logic but we can find a way to make it logical for the brain. If you try to calculate 1+1 you will always get 2!. And math should be more foreign to the brain than OBE (OBE our brain did it thousands of times). So why the brain gets the number 2 every time right but we get very little OBE even that some of us trying every day and for years!. In the last 2 years and after every day of trying I got only 6-8 OBE/AP!. That clearly tells us that we are not talking to brain in the right way! (Rope technique, Visualization, etc.  Are the wrong ways to go) . Those methods are developing nothing in our brain for the next time and they are not effective either in the current attempt. In another term if you do try the Rope tech. every day for the next six months you are not in any way close to project. We need to make OBE more like a "SKILL" that you could be trained to "MASTER" it. While we have many people in this forum appear to be good AP ,But they always talk about luck ! . Why some who is very good at AP and doing it for many years some are up to 18 years and then they need luck (I don't need luck to figure out 1+1 ,or to drive my car or even to dream)? I guess the methods they used(and we) are more than forcing the OBE to occur, or the trying to introduce OBE. We need creative people to come up with a new approach for AP.  I learned to drive the car once. Every day I reused this experience and I improve my skill by driving ! , Why it's not the case with getting out of my body ?

Very good thoughts you have there - like turning the picture upside down .

When trying to learn how to drive a car, or do math, or play an instrument - there are certain things that are alike:

1 - Keep noticing (Conscius and unconscius) a lot of other people, that allready KNOW how to do it.
2 - Get a good teacher, that allready knows how to do it.
3 - Start simple, and try to get the early victories.
4 - Learn the theory / the "basics" / the "tools" you work with.
5 - Practice, and get "corrected" by your teacher, and then practice again.
6 - Keep working, and draw the connections to other areas of your life.
7 - To be really good at something, learn to relax while doing it - learn to "follow" the flow instead of trying to "controll" the flow.

Hmmm - there are problably more things in common, but I think, that these are the most commen ones ...

Okay - 1 is almost impossible with OBE/AP's unfortunately. Almost no body out of specific circles talks about this, or do this. So it becomes very difficult to "adjust" your mind into thinking, that this is "no big deal" - that everybody does it.

2. Almost as impossible. Okay - we got eachother here at this site !!! ..... Somebody talks about "personal guides", but this is (IMO) a little bit like telling a person that wants to learn how to read, to read a book about it *S* ...

3. Yup - Relaxing the body, Energywork, Meditation ... remembering dreams, trying to take "controll" in your dreams - but the right combination of the different techniques and state-of-mind in the right order ? ... (Like trying to shift the car into gear, press down the speeder, but forgot/ didn't know how to start the engine - and then getting frustrated about, that nothing happens).

4. Again - we got eachother, and a lot of reading behind and ahead of us ... But as with 2 - a good teacher in the beginning of everything new is a VERY good thing !!

5. Since 2 is almost impossible, this is also almost impossible. We could end up stuck with at "minor" problem, that an experienced OBE'er that knew us could "spot" (and correct) really fast ?...

6. Trying hard - but with the missing 2 and 5 for inspiration and correction, it gets very difficult.

7. Okay - this one is difficult, when you don't have the others nailed yet ...

...Just some simple thoughts ...

Hi all ,I was reading about RV.I  read about how it works by logic and order. it has stages ,the first stage is to look for "The Single Line" .I guess it will be a lot easy if some one could develop a way and steps that is logical. I was thinking about it and I wanna share it with you guys maybe some body will come with a way to seek OBE instead of wait or hope for it will happen !

any ideas?
