Theres an ancient Hindu myth that says:
"Human consciousness began as a tiny ripple that chose to leave the ocean of cosmic consciousness. As it awoke to itself, our consciousness forgot that it was part of the infinite cosmic ocean and found itself washed ashore and imprisoned in a state of isolation."
