It sounds as though you might be having OBE-like experiences, but it is hard to tell.

It sounds like you are empathic . . . feeling other people's emotions and such.  If this distresses you, let me know, and I'll send you some information on shielding.  Alpha is also empathic, he might check in.

I guess I inappropriately sent a message to Robert Bruce, new to the computer as well as this stuff. I didn't know how to get to this page before I wrote him. Tonight I listened to him on Afterdark for only the last few minutes of the show and didn't get the full idea but think that I've been having OBE for many years now. I don't always get the pulse and feeling like I might die, I ususally only get that if I leave when I'm drowsy. When I'm awake it's not that unpleasant but is very weird and unsure why you'd try to do it on purpose. I'm not sure if it's related to this but I also feel what other people feel and sometimes access their memories, just in snipits, events. I don't always know when what I am feeling is me or someone else. I often illogically feel like I can fly (with my body) and unsure if this is a "normal" phenomenom with OBE or if anybody even thinks that this is OBE. I've often thought I'm just nuts. Telling people about it tends to get a response like I am so I have shared it with very few people. I've done this since I was at least 3, possibly younger and with much effort, have nearly suppressed it over the past 4 years. What do you think?
