I wnt to astral project, change my perception of time so to spend maybe a 100 years in one minute of physical reality time. I think... If we just astral projected and slowed down our time perception, wed never have to come back in billions of years. Maybe never. Its one of my goals right now. Any thoughts from experienced ppl here?

Being 'dropped' into many scenes where days go by, it may be a possibility. I've not experienced a hundred years their time yet. I have speeded up day and night cycles to obtain a view of time. You miss amost everything. It was a specific task to learn how to wait a week in a few seconds. I guess you want to live 100 in the experience. This may not be a good idea if you think about it. Imagine a nicer physical locale. How would you remember WHO YOU ARE upon waking? You'd develop massive personality differences and if their physics was different, you'd be in a troublesome predicament.

I like the idea though. You're thinking outside of the box.

I wonder, if lets say he did live 100 years within an hour our time and when he came back, wouldn't he just forget it all and just remember a few minutes of the actual event?

DarkHorizon

hmm and about never returning. Lets say you make 1 minute a hundred years. Then when the "final astral minute" is left you just slow it down so it take another hundred years to wake up and you just always keep slowing perceived time down and never does the 1 minute of physical reality time come.

Until you need to go to the bathroom of course

I would say that even the most skilled OBEer cant hold there focus for so long to be able to experience a perception of events worth hundreds of years. And if it's possible, when you wake up physically (and you eventually will, unless someone kills you in your sleep LOL) your brain may not translate all the information from your experiences, so you may not even remember it all. In fact as we speak, our spirits are experiencing the higher realms at all time. Do you remember any of it, except when your physical body shuts down during sleep? Exactly!

Time isn't the same there, so this would be impossible to measure!

Living an entire lifetime within a matter of seconds or minutes would be an awesome experience.

Didn't someone already do this? I recall someone on here talking about living an entire lifetime in a single astral projection session. Maybe someone can fish the story out sometime I don't remember a lot of it or where exactly it was on here but I know someone definitely did do it.

I think in theory its possible but you would really have to be EXTREMELY good at staying in the astral world.

Lionheart what exactly were you thinking when u did it? Should we aim to literally compress time? Our perception of events? Or something else?

It was spontaneous. I just stayed consciously aware the whole time. It happened during a LD/NPR event.

The weird thing is, I was "energized" the next day. I couldn't wait to post it. I thought I would be dead tired from that adventure.

was it REALLY a lifetime? I mean with how long it seemed you was out there for.

Not an entire lifetime. I was older when it started but saw myself aging throughout the years. So was everyone else around me.

I would say it was a span of about 30 years.

So you lived 30 years in a few hours or so? pretty amazing.

Lionheart, I have also a question about your 30 years trip. You feel it was like 30 years, right? But you also experienced 30 years? Like day and night in astral, 365days a year and that for 30 years? So you should have memory about eating or going to somewhere, relationships, jobs, friends, university, natural disasters, war, happiness, sadness and so on? In 30 years you should remember about 2000 people you have met.

Well I didn't do anything like for that long, like a hundred years, but I did it. During one of my earliest manual APs, I hovered above NYC at day, sped up time. What I got to see was cool; it was time-lapse video. As it became night, I was able to see all of the lights of the buildings start to become visible. A pretty cool experience that I would want do witness again.

WOW!. Do tell more please.

OT: I have heard people living multiple lifes on ayahuasca trips and witnissing the infinite on DMT,
The One is ALL. And the All are One.

Back when I was using the talisman to AP, I met other people elsewhere. There were quiet a few people that were cool, so I hung around them every chance I got. They fairly liked me as well. A long-distance relationship, so to speak. There is one person I still go to occasionally. He is great; after a major thing that originally had us at each other's throats, we've became friends.

So i know some about having a 'double-life' in AP.
