Hi everyone,
I am new here and recently I read a few articles about  how wonderful astral projection is. I am intending to purchase the course from Steve Jones and I hope to achieve astral projection in the near future from this recommended course. Anyway, my question is; can one go back in time and relive a certain day with high accuracy? The day I wish to relive is Friday June 4Th, 1976. Something very important has happened which does concern me on that day. The 3 persons who would know have been deceased for over 20 years. One of these persons told me only a little bit about this sometime in 1990. In 1994 I had a serious accident resulting in head injuries and I have totally forgotten what did happen on that day in 1976. I hope someone out there can answer me and has anyone gone back in time.

Its a long journey to achieve this level of precision. However theres lots of free info around thats very useful too. Your recommendation may be posted about on this site and a search (top right of page) may reveal some info.
Time generally doesn't exist in the astral nor does all the physical laws you've learned about during your life.
Its a challenge and I wish you luck in your endeavours.

I am sorry to hear about your accident and I hope everything will work out for you.  I have read in ap books that you can go back in time.  I went back into time a long time ago.  I was not trying to go back in time.  It was an accident.  I knew I was somewhere in the past as the clothes people were wearing was very old fashioned.   There is no guarantee that I really went back into time and I really saw the past.  I think I did but nothing is definite unless you have proof.  When you do go into the astral, things tend to happen that can get in the way, such as, you may not be able to see well, you get distracted, you got excited and went back into your body, etc etc.  Sometimes things can turn into a dream if we loose focus.  It could take you a long time to achieve it but if you want to do it badly enough I would encourage you to go ahead.  You would have to get evidence so you would know that it was real and that could take a lot of time.  You might have to keep going back to that time for a while.   
You could contact a deceased person but if you do you would still need to get evidence to see if that information was correct.  I have read many times that you can contact deceased people.

I'd say it's possible but not easy to achieve with astral projection. Have you considered undergoing hypnotic regression? That might be your best bet.

Hello and welcome jaynong. I'm sorry to hear about your accident and loss of memory. I think nickspry's suggestion about hypnotic regression is a very good idea, and more likely to bring quicker results than AP. AP is a wonderful experience, but incredibly difficult to control in the way you want to. Even with years' experience, such a feat is extremely difficult.

Some of our members have found Steve Jones' tapes very helpful, whilst others are highly suspicious about him. I feel that he over exaggerates what is possible. If you do decide to learn AP, then you should do this with the intention of simply learning the skill as a general mind expanding technique, but not really with this one specific target of reliving that day.

That is not to say, you won't find the answers you are looking for, it's just that the answers may come in unexpected ways, by means of experiences which, without having an open mind, you would not experience. What I'm saying is that if you try doggedly to relive that date, you my fail, but if you open your mind to new experiences you may be shown things that answer your questions, in alternative ways.

Having said all of that, there is the idea of the Akashic Records, which is supposed to be a kind of "astral library", containing information about all events that have happened, and will happen. But this is a kind of old fashioned western occult idea and I have yet to hear of anyone who has really contacted the Akashic records.

I do believe that AP can help you in many ways, and may give you the answers you are looking for, though perhaps not precisely how you imagined! And do consider the hypnotic regression thing.

I agree with nickspry.  That was what I was trying to say.  It will not be easy to do.  Hypnosis would be a better option.

Last night I woke up in my grandmas house and it all looked strange.I asked my uncle what ear is it,and he asked me if I am mad or something,but then he told me it was 1984 I began to loose my awareness and woke up shortly.so I say it's possible!

Hey there!

I do believe it is possible... I was in my basement and was having a projection. I was looking at pictures on the wall that aren't originally on the wall now. But they were my grandmas old ones. I think it's very hard to control these things at first though. ( been studying and learning this for a year and I just now managed to realize how much easier it is to think about walking somewhere then to actually walk there. What I mean is if you THINK of going to the wall over there... you will literally just glide there. You can also walk or what not. But, I am still a bit clumsy on my feet and my astral body isn't the easiest thing to move. I am making progress though. Everyone will if they stick with it.

I think it is possible to do but I do not think it would be very easy to do.  It could take a long time.  A hypnotherapist would be a better option.
