Is it ok?

I'm going on a 10 hour+ plane ride tomorrow... so I'm going to stay up (in total I'll be up for about 36 hours straight) so I can just sleep it out - I'd rather be awake for the 10 hours at my house than on a boring plane ride.

I was thinking though, if I try to AP on the plane, and succesfully did, since my physical body is changing location due to the plane flying, will I be able to get myself back?

I know... it's a stupid question... but I just want to be sure..

Well, I don't think it is stupid question.

I am not the authority, but I would say it is fine. I have heard of no instance of a person being unable to get back to their body (although there are a lot of people who posted here, who no longer do so :-P). If it is the movement aspect that scares you, then think about this: there is bascially nothing in the known universe that doesn't move. Even when we are still, the eath is moving thousands of miles per hour around the sun and in its axial rotations. And the solar system itself is moving, and the milky way as well. Movement, you see, is relative, not absolute- everything is still in reference to one thing, and moving in reference to another. If you wanted to have a fixed point to guage the movement of all other points, you would be out of luck, as the point would only be fixed in one frame of reference- it is impossible as far as I know to track the location of a spatial point, and meaningless anyhow. So you are no more fixed lying in bed than you are in the plane. But I am sure you knew all of this  Have fun!

I have tried astral projecting on a plane, but had little luck. I have while in a car for a rather long period of time, but I just can't seem to slow down my thoughts while on a plane. It is probably just a matter of how comfortable you are with flying.
i can't breathe right now

I remember reading Cosmic Journeys by Rosalind McKnight, and in the book her spirit guides tell her about stagnation and how its actually the one thing you want to avoid. Now this is dubiously related to not being productive, not neccessarily movement, but with all things moving would be the product of non-stagnation. So, all in all, just a refreshing thought; I mean most things are based on wave-lengths which need to move to be produced.

Yeah I'm not very comfortable flying.

But I will down a few shots before I go (I'm not the driver) to help me relax. Plus with 36 hours of being awake, it shouldn't really be a problem to me go lights out.

Cars are very nice for me.

Once, (accidental) i was sleeping in the back of a van (u know, thos ebig old vans witht he extra tire case on the back, comes in funny colors? yeah) and I was drifting to sleep, and I just found myself sittign on the road, watching the van (and my body) drive off.

good AP too, nice long one.

I agree witht he non-stagnation thing, seems to help me alot.

and remember no matter where you or you body is "I want to be back in my body" is all it takes to return.
