To not see ones body

Greetings gents and ladies, I would like to bring up a subject mater which has been on my mind for some time, that is not seeing ones body during an OBE, I have been projecting for 3 years or so now, and only seen my body once or twice, now it is no importance that I see it, but when i purposely look I turn back and see an empty bed, than it gets odder, you than open a door, now..a bit of a question, how does a non physical being open a door in a physical world? I know I know, astral counterpart right? what I really would like is to have an in depth discussion with you fine beings on such matters, and I intend not to reduce AP as mere mental flatulence, nor over active imagination, or "dreams" that is not what I intend, what I intend is that we discuss such matters as not seeing ones body, the nature of OBE RTZ environments.

I am some what confused after reading others experiences where they saw there body asleep or there body on a gurney in an NDE, and I know that others on this forum have experienced this, what are your thoughts people? is it that we some how on a deeper level don't want to see it? interesting stuff huh?

Your not opening a physical door. When are are in the RTZ you are in a non physical body in a non physical plane.  The RTZ is not actually the physical world, just very close to it that it is almost the same.  This is also why sometimes dooors and windows will be in wrong places.  The RTZ is so close to the physical, that you can  look at the astral bodies of people in the physcial, but they cant see you, more or less, because theire conscience is not in their astral body, but in their physical. When you open a door or move an object in the RTZ, you are moving it's RTZ counterpart, not the actual object from the physical.

This is at least, my take on it heh.

I beleive that the RTZ is one of the many parrelle universes that scienctists are now admitting to.

Not seeing your body when you project?

It's happened to me on a few occasions.  The answer I've received in regards to this, is simply, you are projecting out of your body, and into another incarnation of your room.  An incarnation where only the astral essence exists...

No fear or worries.  It just means when you project... you really PROJECT.

Thank you EnderZ & stone, I have heard of this my self, its a possibility that this plane is made of pure energy, lets be honest, there is very little known about "reality", I have had experiences where I have verified things, so its a mixture, perhaps when we open doors, we are opening a energetic component to that door? or perhaps we project an image of it, like a hologram? could be..could be, the true nature of reality is fascinating, and one can get lost just getting caught up in the little details, oh well, look sharp though, we are pioneers in a way in this brave new horizon.

Let me share this experience I had a while ago, I remember going out to my neighbors lawn in non physical state, and seeing there family circled around a white Mercedes in the garage, a new one at that, I awoke, went to the window and no Mercedes nor family to be found, placed the experience on the back burner so to speak and went about my day.

About 2 or so months latter, I am driving down my street and I see there daughter driving a black Mercedes up our street!, I wish I had wrote down what model it was 2 months prior, but they looked (according to memory) spot on, so it seems when we see things "wrong" when we awake...perhaps we haven't seen it..yet! perhaps all those things we see "wrong" are in fact psychic energy, possibilities, alternative realities etc, so please, do share such experiences like this.

Personally, I've only seen my body twice...  Most of the times, I just "rocket" to some unknown places...  The only few times I had the opportunity to look, the bed/chair was empty.

The only experiences involving my body I can think of are: when my "head" (consciousness) was right in my solar plexus (my vision was at the solar plexus level for some reason and I could see my crossed arms over my chest), and when I accidentally separated while rotating to end up face to face with myself...

Facinating Nagual! I have my self once experienced an experience similar to your's a few weeks back, I attempted to open my eyes during the vibrations, but instead my vision shifted down onto my left cheek in which I could see my physical left eye 1/4 open.

I have limited experience, but I have experienced myself as a ball of energy, which was located in the region of my head; however, I have no doubts that this ball can move all around the body before projecting out of it. Maybe that is why u could see "from" your solar plexus.

so i finally found the topic i was searching for. let's try to write in English after having no sleep for 24hours ...

well, i had seven remembered oobes so far (all during last month), each one was different by means of lucidity and details.... i never saw my body and last night i clearly saw my empty bed, while this time my room was identical to the real room (in every detail). i flew to the window with the intention to jump and fly outside for the first time.
i was already outside, still holding on to the roof-window's grip.

and started to worry...
like: "if my physical body is not in bed, then where the heck is it? ... am I just throwing it out of the physical window while dreaming this was an oobe?"

lol, these worries shot me back into my physical body where i awoke....


well thats my stupid story ....

my idea is that people who see the their bodies on the other side have a strong psychological connection to their body. therefore their subconscious either wants to project the physical body on the other side (synthesize it) or it is ease for the subconscious to do so.

i mainly think so, because i myself have a very bad relation to my body and i don't really miss it out there.

any objections?

(it's a thought, not an opinion nor a believe - i try to do the agnostic thing: everything is possible - nothing is sure (or nothing is "real" since we can never be sure about our definition of the word "real" anyway))

i don't mention this to bore u, but because i think this attitude plus my 'schizoid type' (bad relation to physical reality and body) makes me being an "natural".

this attitude clearly reduces my fear. and if some entity tries to snatch myself the entity might be real, but, so what, my self is not. i win, i win. just kiddin...

what i find to be funny is, that i always see something, once i come around a mirror. the first time I was naked and looked like iggy pop (didn't see the face, just the ... weener). the last time i looked exactly like myself but without fat (talking about my face). and i had orange an Lila aura. can i see my "real" aura in an astral mirror?

am i so attached to my face (as in "container of narcissistic feelings") so i just need to project it there (synthesize it)? can i jump through a mirror?
well i still have thousands of questions ..  hard to stay on topic

Once I had an experience while trying to AP. About 15 minutes into
my session I had a thought, oops I left the door open. I could hear noise
from the next room. deciding what to do, I thought I'd try my mental arms. My right arm was nearer, so I mentally projected my arm to close the door. Repeating the thought mentally until I felt I had actually pushed the door closed. At that same moment the noise stopped, I also stopped the session, looked and the door was moved to the closed position but not shut completely.
