Trance state, then waking up already projected

Hi EnderZ

...and welcome.

I have recently found "spinning" a very useful technique.  Once you're in the trance state, just imagine yourself spinning round and round.  I find this gets me out fairly effectively, and gets me spinning round my bedroom.  Eventually I seem to slow down and am floating in the air.  It's just one technique (of many), which may or may not work for you.

spinning like as if you where standing up and spinning in circles?

catmeow

Nope!

If you imagine what the sensation would be if you were lying on a horizontal board and the board begins to spin around about a vertical axis right through the middle of the board.  That's how it feels.  I begin by feeling myself lying in bed and then it feels like I'm lying on a board which begins to revolve around.  I start by imagining this but the sensation picks up speed and I feel as if I'm whirling round above my bed in the bedroom.  Sometimes it feels like I'm actually just flying around in a little circle round and round.  Gradually this slows down and I catch glimpses of the room.  When it settles down I just float down to a standing position.  That's it!  It's fairly natural for me and just one technique I use.

I'm not sure if you are getting lost, maybe the problem is that you are not getting anywhere? At one time I tried to project and would get into a trance, experience all the vibes and heart pumping but just did not get any further ,even though I could stay in this state an hour. Most of the time I would use the interupted sleep technique and project after falling back to sleep. After finally going through my first concious projection where I maintained awareness through the whole experience, it felt like I was a thousand miles away from my body, whereas when I didn't obe I was still very much 'in' my body.Somehow the intensity of the whole thing keeps you focused on the body, when you should be taking your awareness elsewhere.

I have only expirenced the heavy vibrations that time, and about a few others. What is the best way to "induce them" as my best attempts at projecting have occured when I have expierenced the heavy vibrations and rocking feeling. It seams as if I can will them to happen byself, but I am having difficulty. Once they do occur, I am able to make them increase, or ease up a bit to my liking.

You don't really 'need' the vibrations, they are just a sign of what is happening. The best thing about them is they do wake you up when you are sleeping.
You ought to try your techniques using the interupted sleep technique-wake up after 6 hours of sleep. Somehow getting into trance and falling asleep puts you into a state where spontanious projections can occur.
As far as methods go, I like the falling one-just feel what it is like to fall down in an elevator-what you want to do is get used to the feeling of your astral self seperating from youir body.
Sounds like you are 99% of the way there. good luck.

May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase

Thanks for the help btw, i dont know anyone who can consciencely project, only me and a freind who are intrested in it. Other then that all i have are books. speaking of that i finnaly finnished astral dynamics and "Adventures beyone the body" by Buhlman.

Actually, about the 99percent thing, it feels like i haven't made any progress in a couple of weeks. Its like i platuead once i was able to reach the trance state.  I can always reach the trance state, and hold it for awhile as long as i dont make it too deep, thats when i lose awarness and fall asleep.  These past two days I started practince the "NEW" stuff, and rasing my energy before I enter the trance which seams to help.

Anything you recommend just to give me "a little push" to help improve further?  I practice every single night before i go to sleep, because of my schedule i cant pracitce during the day.

another thing about the vibrations, is that when i first would get them, and it was new to me, i could feel for them, induce them, and strengthem them. now, the second i get the vibrations i start thinking such as "yes, finnaly i got the vibrations"  or  "good, im getting closer"  and it wakes me up and i lose them. Im working on just being able to control my thinking when they come. thats the only time when i cant control my thoughts. because so far i've become extremly well at that.

thanks again!

First I would just like to say this is my first post, I found this site about a few weeks ago. I've read almost all of Astral Dynamics by Bruce.

This is another one of thoes "please help, what am I doing wrong to project thread" I know there are alot of them, but please read mine and help me with any insight that you can offer.

I try to project everynight. 2/3 of the time I end up just falling asleep after reaching a heavy trance state, and not being able to maintain awarness, and just getting "lost in the trance." The majority of the times that I dont fall asleep, after I reach the trance state I tend to bob in and out of awarness. Such as I'll start observing imagry and sounds, and all of a sudden "wake up" (not completly, just become aware again of whats going on) and realise that I had got lost in the trance. This happens to me I'd say about back and forth for about 5-6 times. Aware of whats going on. Then bam, realize I had just drowned out. Each time it happens it is stronger and stronger. Today I was trying to project and all of a sudden bam! I became aware again after "getting lost in the trance" to realize that I was staring up at the celling with astral sight. I had my astral sight, and was seeing everything perfectly clear, but I had not realized this, I was "zoned out" in the trance, and when I came too, is when I realized that I had been looking at the celling with my astral eyes for awhile. After that I herd a loud disturbing sound which caught me by suprise and ended that.

My question is, how can I stop myself from "getting lost in the trance" if you understand what I mean. How can I maintain awareness while still in the trance.
Also there are levels of the trance that I can get into. Should I be in a light, heavy, or deep state of trance before atempting to project?

I have been lighty reading about astral projection and similar subjects for about a year now. For the past 3 months I've been reading anything I can get my hands on, on astral projection, and have been practicing it every chance I get, before I go to sleep, when I get home from school sometimes and no one is home, ect. I am able to completly relax my body, and silence my mind to stop the chatter. I am able to effectively enter a trance state and after this state deepens, is where I usualy fall asleep without getting closer to projection.

Besides this, I have had one conscience projection that lasted only several subjects. I didn't use any techniques at all, I was in a trance state, starting feeling heavy, heavy vibrations, and just willed myself very strongly to leave my body threw the brow chakra. This was effective as the 2d blackness behind my eyes gained dept, and I slowly floated twards my ceiling, but then got excited and got pulled back, I went on to expirence the same thing about 2 more times that night.

Lastly, I have not found a good technique for exiting that has been helpfull for me besides just pure willing myself to exit my body, and imagineing that I am light and that I am slowly floating upward like a baloon. The rope methode does apsolutely nothing for me. I am a wrestler, and clim rope about 3 days a week to improve arm strenght, so I use this to my advantage when trying this technique, but I still never get anywhere with it, and I have great imagination and vizulization skills. Any tips on the rope method?

All comments, tips, help, and advice is very much apricated and I thank you in advanced for helping further myself in developement twards being able to project willingly
