Title: Tricking myself into a AP possible?

I'm just curios over this thought but would it be possible to trick myself into a AP by sort of mentally feeling as though I am feeling symptoms that normally lead to astral projections (if that makes sense), for example some people recall that they feel as though they are floating and so I could try feeling as though I was floating thus this would make it easier to get into an AP   :? :? :? :?

Simply put, yes, that is how you utilize a Visualization exercise or a Rundown or a specific exercise such as the Noticing exercise; with each one you are trying a variety of visualizations or just waiting to see what 'exit' symptoms present themselves and then working with those.

There are many exercises you can try on the first few boards here.

Imagining a floating feather, falling leaf, a balloon rising, plane increasing altitude, etc. ... all of these have one thing in common and that's that your focus is on them instead of your physical body. Which is what conscious AP entails.

So yes, if that works for you the better!  :wink:
