A vibration question

I'm quite new to this so bear with me.

I have been practicing this now for about two months I believe.  I took a short break from it due to things that needed my attention at work but go back into the groove this weekend.  While skimming through the forums here, I noticed a book mentioned called Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce.  So on Monday, I picked it up.  I read as much as I can of it every night.

Usually after I've been reading for a couple of hours, it's about 45 minutes to an hour until I usually go to bed.  This is where I try building technique to successfully project while conscious.  Now here is my question:

When you receive the vibration sensation, does you physical body actually move?  I noticed these past two nights while I'm having the vibrations, my physical body is actually moving.  How can I verify this?  Well, the vibrations last night for example make me feel as if I was trying to find a way out of my physical body by rolling into a ball.  When I was physically awaken (at my will), I was curled into a fetal position.  The night before that, my body was halfway stood up (my upper half was up) and did not use my arms for leverage.  I felt and think I even saw my legs shaking wildly.  In an attempt to try the "roll out of body" method I have read about, I actually fell out of bed.

I'm just curious because I don't know if it's normal.  I don't know if my astral body is vibrating while my physical body is moving or if my physical body itself is actually shaken furiously.  I'm beginning to think it's the latter due to the fact that the night before last, my neck was a little bit sore when I got up.  I know my body was asleep because I could hear the high frequency energy hum like it was right in my ear canal.

I also get visions and rapid heart rate.  The rapid heart rate does not bother me anymore because I understand the cause of it now.  But the visions, I think are my physical eyes consciously because I of course see what is directly in front of my physical eyes but the vision doesn't change; I only see what is in front of me.  I see what I would see if my actual eyes were open.

Also, I don't know if this is possible but can you overstimulate energy to the point to where it can make you have that floating/dreamlike feeling all day the next day?  I have been like that all day today and it's been driving me nuts!  Maybe I'm just coming down with the flu or something.

I am still reading the book so these questions haven't been answered so I figured in the meantime, I would ask for some suggestions/explanations on what this really is and/or what it is caused by.

Thanks!

I think you may be in a state of light trance when your body moves ; you feel disorientation, a certain sense of duality... But that state is not deep enough -- you still have control over your muscles. I recommend that you try to "nurture the vibrations" ; this does not mean concentrating on them directly, but rather doing a technique to exert pressure on your non-physical body -- try a visualization technique like the rope at this point, for example.

I have felt this as well directly following very vivid dreams or OBEs... Some kind of intense depression-like feeling, a feeling of disconnection, detachment, slowed reaction time... Literally as if a part of my mind was still out there instead of with me in the physical... It's possible that the energetic reactions involved in OBEs cause a strain on the energy body... It hasn't happened enough for me to find any "cures" though, maybe others will have good tips...

Well i'm not expert too but i think that your problem is that you try to move your astral body with the same way as you are moving your physical body. One i had sleep paralysis and i tried to use it as my gate to obe. I tried to move in astral as i would move my phisical body, but only i felt was sense of paralisis. :x So i tried to move with thoughts :| (for example: imagine yorself floating up). Well that works for me. :-D Once you are out you can experiment with various ways of moving yourself while out of body.
As for that feeling you have all day next day, in the way you describe it, it is pretty much same I had. I don't know what i problem with that because i liked that feeling.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Last night, I tried the rope technique in two different variations but to no avail.  I think I'm going to attempt to harness the vibrations rather than trying/concentrating too much on "coming out".  I think I'll imagine myself more of floating out than pulling myself/being pulled out.  I tend to tense up more.  I think I need to be, like mentioned above, to be deeper in the trance state.

@Kosmos: I don't like that feeling because it causes me to be distant in thought which causes conflicts at my job which requires a lot of thought and organization.  When I'm disoriented, it makes what I do a lot more difficult.

Maybe you are overstimulating something in your energy body? how long do you stimulate your third eye or crown chakra? overstimulating those chakras causes me symptoms of disorientation and I become sort of spacey?  if the cause of those symptoms are the ones above, a good remedy is to lay off stimulation in those areas for 1-5 days and do physical exercises and/or grounding exercises and take cold showers until you feel better. it worked for me.
I tried to quote paragraph I quoted inside a square by choosingthe insert quote option but it added the whole post into the square, so I modified the way it is now, how do I quote someone  correctly?

In regards to what you said... Well, I don't usually stimulate the upper chakras, so it's probably not from energy work... But yeah, symptoms tend to wear off after a few days, by themselves... As far as I'm concerned, I go to sleep and it usually straightens itself out by the time I wake up...
