I been trying for 2 months now i have no success with it . I did try different methods but they dont seem to work so i focus more on the feelings i get ..... But everytime i i try to astral project i end up falling a sleep. I always try to do it laying on my back but then i get exhausted I sleep on my stomach . Can you astral project sleeping on your stomach ? anyways everytime I fail I get lucid Dreams .. Most times i cheat on my gf with these dreams haha. Last night I think i was able to move my astral hand up and down .. I dont know if i was just making it up in my mind or i actually was . It felt like a normal motion but my astral hand was extremely light .
Your mind is conditioned to sleep in bed. Try moving to a comfortable chair where you can sit/recline.
sounds good going to try it now
Yes, that's a very good point. Sleep therapists even suggest that all you ever do in bed is sleep (except for the other thing we do in bed with our partners). Everything else (such as watching tv, eating, studying etc etc) should not be done in bed so that your body and mind associates sleeping with going to bed. Obviously this is something that many people develop naturally but for those who suffer from insominia, it is something that may need to be taught.
In regards to AP'ing from the face-down position; there is no problem with doing that. I've had mini-OBes over the years even while on a massage table, face down being "pummelled" by the massage therapist. :)

IMO, Lucid Dreams are projections. If you end up getting LD's a lot, use them as your launchpad.
What "different methods" did you try? And how long did you try them for before you moved onto the next one?
It kind of seems like your focus is a bit off.
i tried the mind awake body a sleep , focusing to relax each body part , counting my breath , and just try to keep thoughts float while keeping my consciousness . Best method that works is counting my breaths. I did not try them for 2 long to see what works best for me. As far as twilight zone I never got there yet or too a point where Im conscious and see images like dreams.
Try creating a visual spiraling vortex, then let yourself become absorbed in it. Pretty soon you will reach the other end of it and find yourself in the Astral.
Another angle of attack is to use different senses to "notice". So if you're not having any luck with visual "noticing", just relaxing again and gently think about what noises you are hearing (noticing), for example a buzz, pop, crackle, voice, music etc; what things you are feeling in your body (noticing), for example a tingle, change in temperature, heaviness or weightlessness.. don't concentrate on the feelings or sounds or tastes, or smells.. just think, for example, "Oh.. that's interesting, my legs feel really heavy" or "oh.. that's weird.. what is that sound.." don't get too involved in the sound.. just "notice" it.. calmly and serenely observe it and if it starts to fade, allow it to fade or blow away like a cloud in a blue sky. Sometimes it's the "absence" of light, sound, feeling etc that you notice.. that is just as valid as something present.
