List/names of entities you have encountered while out of body

Having some problems with spirits. I will list the ones I have encountered, and if you yourself have encountered one of them, please let me know, and list any you have encountered.

#1. Shadow people - shadow people that show up in pictures, and I have seen them standing beside my bed. Very tall, but couldn't make out a face. I didn't feel it was positive neither negative.
#2. Negative sexual entity with a green face - bothered me about a year ago, whispered something in a different language in my ear. It tried to seduce me, and I watched its face morph as I knew it wasn't what it appeared to be.(Incubus?)Took on the form of somebody I knew before morphing.
#3. Small negative beings - didn't see them. they latched onto my back and pulled me to the lower astral planes. I was blinded but could feel their claws, suctioning into my back. I demanded they bring me back and they did.
#4. Mysterious, deep voices - I usually heard them when I needed help of some sort. They offered me assistance, and seemed to come from all around aswell as inside of me.
#5. Light beings - Couldn't see faces or descriptions, nothing more than a glowing aura, whitish/yellow. Appeared only once.
#6. Tormenting entities - touched me and bothered me, harassed me. I could feel them grabbing my wrists, my bare waist, my back. I could hear them laughing and flying around the room, they also seemed to do things to scare me, such as poking me, breathing in my ears and cutting off my breath.

I encountered one of the shadow people you spoke about. It was standing there in my doorway to my bedroom and it stared at me for a bit. I asked what it was. There was no answer and then it ran into me and knocked me back a bit. Then I looked around and it was gone. I had no idea what it was and I stayed there still for a while. It was terrifying and I don't sleep in that room too much anymore.

In the "RTZ" I've only ever encountered other People(Humans). I've Seen My Totem Animal in the RTZ. A GIANT Toad sticking to the Ceiling LOL. And A female Entity that can Shapeshift.(She didnt look entirely Human, some alienish characteristics).

In the "RTZ" I've only ever encountered other People(Humans).

Pretty much, except no toads. I have, however, seen 'monkeys' (it's what I call them, they sort of look like human children but not really) and lizard people.

Ditto.  And 'holy' type people, 'deity' looking figures, light beings, dark beings, and cartoonlike critters that were not so nice (but not so terrible either).

i believe i have seen the shadow person in the real time zone trying to jump into my body,thats another story.I have met a really tall hairy human like being,looks alot like what people describe as the big foot,he was a baker and very friendly.And a huge red eyed rat like creature.

It's funny that nobody mentioned hooded figures. These are quite common in NDEs but I have experienced them once and so have a few people in Astral Viewers:





Actually I also saw these two veiled figures travelling at high speed through a dark void before I came face to face with a hooded being. The veiled and apparently female figures were more ghostly looking than in the image here that I've drawn (as opposed to the opaque human-like characters that we often meet in the metaphysical). So was the hooded being. The faces of the veiled ones were described as 'cartoonish' but I'd say they resembled the queen's face on a typical deck of cards! Strange...



Are they spiritual entities or the product of a collective unconscious mind that we all share?

Summerlander, it's cool that you listed the hooded figure. I saw one in my most recent lucid dream. I believe it communicated with me, but I'm unable to recall what it said from conscious memory. What exactly do you mean by "the product of a collective unconscious mind that we all share"?

Personally I have encountered the following beings/creatures while out of body ---

1) elementals, including one elemental (not sure what type) that I have become familiar with,
2) a dragon during one memorable OBE
3) astral wildlife, normal animals, on several occasions
4) shadow people during one OBE and
5) normal people discarnates/spirits on the astral/ethereal plane.

That's crazy, when I was a kid around the age of 7 I had a dream of me falling back down into my bed and as I was floating slowly down I saw a big shadow figure above where my body was laying with it's hands kind of out. I awoke when I landed on my body with a massive heartbeat and kind of sweating. Now that I have a better idea of what was actually occurring I thought the event was strange. Kind of has me scared to try and project sometimes

Well, if the beings I saw in that dark void are not sentient, they could be a product of a collective mind that we all share. I say this because others experienced the same as me and one member in particular who is an excellent artist posted a good depiction of the hooded beings which was exactly what I had seen. He hadn't even read my experience when he posted his. What he described as "glowing filaments" surrounding the ghostly figures I had described as "luminous threads" earlier.

This was enough to convince me that I did not create those beings (unless me and him as two human beings are literally on the same wavelength). Then I started to think about cultures around the world in order to make associations (like Carl Jung!) and the "grim reaper" sprung to mind because he is a hooded figure associated with death. Although the hooded beings during mystical experiences don't really carry scythes, this object could be the symbolic representation for the type of work that they do. You reap what you sow during your life.

Furthermore, as I researched encounters with hooded beings during altered states of consciousness, I came across the case of a woman who had an NDE when her psychotic husband was strangling her. She suddenly found herself a few feet away from where her husband was killing her. She felt really sad because she didn't want to die too. She then came face to face with a strange hooded figure and felt really cold (I felt this too during my OOBE encounter and sometimes I wonder if I had been mistaken by another order of consciousness to be dead at the time when I was only perambulating in the OOBE-state). Suddenly, she 'felt' her entire life play within her and began to understand how her actions affected others. She never had any visual memories of her life, it was more like an intense feeling...

Eventually she woke up at the hospital and, as it turns out, she had been saved by a member of her family opening the door. That caused the husband flee the scene. The experience had a profound effect on her personality. She began to be more considerate of other people's feelings and how her behaviour might affect them. She was also less afraid of death...like she knew that we don't really die.

Now, back to my experience, I spoke to the hooded figure but this one only screeched and whistled back as if it had great difficulty in communicating with me. Then it waved its almost formless hand in front of my eyes and a black and white 3D construct manifested all around me. It was a nursery and I saw lots of kids playing with toys and reading books. What it meant I don't know but you'll find the experience in detail in my journal.

That's interesting. I was actually watching a show on either discovery or the history channel about the mysteries of the world including Columbus' UFO sighting before he hit America and how the Great Pyramid of Giza produces hydrogen. Anyways, during the time of the black plague in Europe, there were sightings of this "hooded figure" before the plague would hit a town.

I'd have to go into my journal to remember them all... but here's some off the top my head.

Vampires which looked like the Heath Ledger's Joker character, but with a red melty-face. One of them followed me back from a hell dimension to the RTZ. I was literally struggling and fighting the thing on the floor. The I used the Tibetan mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum' and the creature melted away to the floor. When I was in the hell dimension they told me that they "feed off of the metals in humans."

In one OBE I asked to see my spirit guide and I was greeted by an array of white butterfly's. I woke up full of enery.

I've ran into some people that looked like you and me. Beings which I perceived as ETs... light beings, hybrid-grey creatures and even a 12 foot tall brown creature which looked like a larger version of Spielberg's ET. It gave me a kiss! Insects and animals too.

I've heard evil voices, beautiful music and everything in between.

Other beings interest me the most. This thread is very interesting and I hope to hear more replies!

Last night I fell into a projection string integrating into areas around my house/property and maybe other vague locations for seconds at a time. In one integration I looked outside my bedroom window and saw a cloaked entity circling a small area off in the distance behind my house over a brook/marsh land. It could've been holding some sort of staff, my recollection is vague. It was a solid color, possibly white or light shade of blue. I had no real intuition about the entity in progress but upon reflection it may have been some sort of elemental.

In the past...

-Family members (mainly in etheral)
-Old Man in "videogame form" (communicated through textbox next to cartoon image of his face)
-Stewie Griffin (didn't communicate or move)
-Librarian (gave me a warning, most interactive human I've encountered)
-Secretary (looked like I was in a busy waiting area, another human with decent interaction)
-Egyptian-looking guy (wore a black pharaoh headdress, attacked me)
-Gnomes (acted friendly and interested but had a mischievous vibe so I ejected fast)
-Various dogs
-Giant Hawk

I used to see a shadow man in my room when I was a little girl. Every night. My mom would say it was from the furniture or toys. She would rearrange things and say, THERE. He'd always reappear. At first he terrified me. Then I came to have a silent understanding with him. He never hurt me, afterall, so I deemed him a silent observer, maybe he was there for protection.

But then a few years ago, while sleeping at my mother-in-law's house in another state I started to have the vibrations of OBE and felt a presence behind me. I opened my eyes and could see this shadowy figure on the wall in front of me and it grew taller and taller and wider and wider. It really scared me! I woke my husband up and he said not to worry that it was just the guy that lives there and he likes to scare and intimidate people but has never harmed anyone. Gee thanks! It worked, mission accomplished I was both scared and intimidated. LOL. Didn't get much sleep that night. Too scared to drift off again.

Another night, I got the vibrations at my aunt's house in the same state about 2 hours away from my mother-in-law's house. I opened my eyes and saw a glowing ball of white light. It was floating about 2 inches above the bed near my husband's feet. It seemed female. It was beautiful. I watched it gracefully and peacefully float alongside the foot of the bed and turn the corner eventually stopping behind my back. I was too scared to turn around. I concentrated and woke myself up. I wish I hadn't. I wish I hadn't been so scared. I have never seen her since.

About 4 years ago I saw a nurse.

Once I saw people sitting around a table floating mid-air playing poker.

Once I saw my cat Deja (I don't have her anymore) floating upside down from the ceiling in my bedroom! She then fell down and stopped a few inches above my bed still upside down. Then my mind started to race. Hmm... could this be a spirit holding her up there and I just can't see the spirit? What the hell is going on? I woke myself up at once and found Deja laying curled up at the foot of my bed.

Once I felt this creature I can only say felt like a big cat (lion?) that straddled my back. When I got scared it would clamp down tighter and tighter.

I have heard troll-like voices many times but have not seen where or who they came from.
