Guys, I'm new here. I am familiar with astral projection though I've never done it. But anyways, what are some stuff you guys have been able to verify during an OBE?

You don't have to go out OBE to have a non physical perception. I prefer doing bilocation instead because I loose less data that way. In Remote viewing we use astral projection as one of the information gathering tools. It's generally accurate for personnel on the target as well as positioning of structures and other physical features if you focus properly. It sucks for numbers and letters.
One of the original military viewers Joe McMonaegle uses astral projection exclusively for his CRV work and it's extremely accurate 70% or more most of the time with amazing detail. He is a talanted artist so his sketches are really good.
Personally I find that I tend to distort the physical environment but I get really good personnel readings with it. I was trying to use it for ARV which basically a skill where you have to choose between two photos to predict an outcome associated with them and I didn't really like it. It was time consuming to get into the trance and focus the session and worse for remembering the details enough to pick between the photo sites. So, it's not my favorite tool to use. A CRV session on the other hand I can do in about 10 minutes for an ARV pick and get a decent accuracy with it. Dowsing is even faster and that is my most accurate skill ( averaging over 80% accuracy on verifiable targets)
So compared to other psychic skills the astral projection is okay Some people like it better than others. It works best when you are targeting areas with biological entities present and in longer sessions where substantial data is being sought.

If you want to learn how to do it. Joe worked with the Monroe institute and along with Tom Campbell helped develop the gateway program so Gateway is ERV. Generally the 7 step protocal for basic remote viewing is learned first, and once proficiency is gained the ERV is taught as an advanced skill.
