Astral contact via my T.V.?!?!

This is lengthy. Here goes. So I'm sitting at my computer screen in the wee hours of the morning as i tend to do.  I get up and walk over to lay on my bed and watch some T.V. Being restless I walk back over to my computer and again back to my bed. The show that I'm watching is Swamp Thing vs. Freddy Krueger. A cloaked figure aproximately 2 foot tall materializes in the corner of my room. I promptly tell it "Go away i'm watchin T.V." And then i say to myself "Hey, that was pretty odd.And for that matter what the hell is Swamp Thing vs. Freddy Kreuger?" I look over on my bed and there I am sleeping next to myself. At which I wake up. This started my interest in OOBE. I began studying the subject. Over the next few nights i have dreams of walking through my house only to wake up upon realizing I'm dreaming.  Also, I wake up with visions of certain lost items in certain places to find these lost items in these places.  One day, despite the absurdity of the idea to me, I try an exercise i read about in increasing psychic energy. During the exercise,after blacking out for a moment,i run frantically over to my dresser and grab the 2 metal handles on it and go to pull it open. Instead, it stays closed and the handles ripp off the dresser and both of the thick metal handles break apart in my hands.  And I'm left asking myself what the hell did i want out of this dresser anyway? I finally decide to start trying to intentionally project. On the 3rd day of attempts using various techniques i read about I wake up in the morning and begin to try to project. All of a sudden I'm in a forest walking on a dirt path i come to a little blue shed with a wooden door with a tinted window. I open the door.  All of a sudden I'm back in my bed and begin feeling the large waveforms passing through my body. I think to myself thats what it must feel like to be a snake. The wavelength shortens and shortens until it feels like my whole body is vibrating at a feverish rate.  I feel my legs begin to float out of my body like as if in water and i decide to try to lift my right arm out of myself and do so pointing it straight in the air. I can see the room despite thinking that my eyes are shut.  I begin to get duely excited only to wake up. "Wow, that was pretty cool." I begin asking questions on the subject in chat rooms and no one can seem to help me. Then I get an IM. "I can help."  We begin to converse and she's a pro "yeah do it all the time" She gives me a bunch of advise that goes right over my head. "Be sure not to get trapped in the Lower vibration planes" is one such example. I tell her about a bunch of childhood experiences one of which is waking up to find a shadow of a man with legs straddling me standing on my bed.  I feel paralyzed for a minute but then manage to take a swing at him and he dissapates.  She tells me if I ever see him or any one like him again to tell him to leave in the name of Jesus Christ and they will do so. This leads me to to believe she has a very Christian belief system. So later on that night I'm laying on my couch watching a Dennis Leary stand up special on Comedy Central. My phone rings and its my friend Kevin he tells me to come over and hang out. I tell him I'm not sure.  Its late and i kind of wanted to go to bed early. Not mentioning the reason for my wanting to go to bed early. He persists in trying to get me to come over. I tell him maybe. So i hang up the phone. And while laying there i say outloud to myself "should I go over to kevins or should i stay home and go to bed" At that moment I look over at my TV and there is a woman dressed as a nun holding a cross in front of her she sais "Just go to bed." And then the TV goes back to the dennis leary special. "Wow I should probably take that as a sign." So ofcourse i go over to Kevins. Regretably I haven't tried any more projecting in a good 6 months. I want to get back into it but being only a few short years shy of 30 and being far from the point of success i imagined myself to be by this age i don't want to waste my time on very real seeming but possibly fictitious experiences. So if any one has seen this Dennis Leary special and know if it is part of the show and thus just a weird coincidence please let me know. Also any sort of validation of OBE/Astralprojection being something that does actually affect physical reality that would also be very helpful. thanks. randy
