im having problems with the vibrational stage... first of all i seem to be nearly unable to induce body asleep mind awake, but i imagine thats just an issue of concentration and practice... what really gets my goat is that i will often wake in the middle of the night in the midle of the vibrational stage. the vibrations, however, are considerably weak, and i find it difficult to enhance them in any way, i can feel the astral body slowly shifting around, and with incredible mental effort can maybe move an arm or a leg...

similar experiences? suggestions?

You shouldn't try to enhance them. Strongly concentrating on them may make them fade. Just let them flow, "notice" them as Frank Kepple says.

I often wake up body sometimes paralysed with the vibrations stage onset. For some reason, I do not fathom at all, I pop my ears and it aids the projection. By popping my ears, I mean that thing you do with the inside of your ears that clears your ears up when they stuffy or you go through a tunnel on a train and emerge with them blocked (change in air pressure). You can pop them by pushing air thru your nostrils as you shut your nostrils closed (which won't help with the projection because your moving your body), or you can just use the muscle itself which you'll know how to do if you can do it.

This has always aided in my projections when I've woke up halfway thru sleep not trying to AP. You have to keep them constantly popping tho which sounds like theres an ongoing air flow.

I'd like to know why this works. Perhaps it's a 6th sense muscle that we don't use anymore.

is the vibrations stage when you start shaking like if you had fever?

I'd describe it as like a cross between the sensation of goosebumps times say 20 and the way it feels when you get a fairly serious electric shock(240v). Not the pain of an electric shock, just the way you can feel the electricity moving through you as if its just as much pieces you moving as it is the electricity.

strange thing it is... i remember the first time i felt the vibrations, they were incredibly intense, felt like my back was arching, then i was out. simple. but theyve become progressively more difficult to induce, and weaker when they do occur. same hting has happened with my experiences during phasing, during the first couple months of practice i had some pretty wild experiences, seeing my room around me with my eyes shut and stuff like that. the experiences got progressively weaker with time, and led me to give up for over a year, im just starting to practice again

Vibrations often diminish over time as your body's get used to whats now being asked of them , its a sign of maturity not failier

Hmm, thanks for the input, makes sense. While were on the subject... Does anyone else feel cold when the vibrations hit? It feels like My body is zapped of all energy, even heat

Yes This happens to me as well, sometimes when im vibrating i feel warm, sometimes i even get dizzy and sweat..then if I accidently mess it up and the vibrations go away i feel colder than i did before i even had vibrations. I cant get passed the vibrations im still having trouble controlling them i guess
