Any ideas on how to push up the power on the vibrations, i tried monroes advice on pulling them towards you, and it doesnt seem to work. In fact it made me loose my clear mind to be honest.

When I get them, I found it helps to focus intently on them.

I personally don't find Monroe's suggestions that helpful compared to other sources, but that might just be me.

I actually experimented with the vibrations for about an hour once. All I did to increase them was to focus on the feeling and when I took my mind off them they started to go away.

Im working late tonight and i can feel them right now in my leg just sitting at my desk, you are right though - focusing on them seems to at least keep them going, and then start to increase them.

I can remember as a child when i came back from an obe i would literally be shaking like a million volt cable... that was full on power that i need.  :roll:

No..no.... if you want vibrations, it has too much dept to it... Like I stress again and again... glad I came back to this forum to tear dreams and make-belives apart, even though Im on beer and half drunk.... this needs to be set strait... To get real vibration you need to do a "energy workout" CHAKRAS... need a map? go google... those are the days of our lifes... no but seriously you need to know what your body can do, and not many people can do that... go to the gym? No (or maybe) eat right... get sleep... then try to get "out"... DONT DRINK ever near an attempt (I've had with my mind experienced so many wierd things with alchohol, but thats ANOTHER STORY) Just get up early, eat light and train on imagining your environment outside your body. Stimulate all of your secondary chakras (again google a map if you dont know where they are) and do it every night... and when u have a day of... EAT LIGHT... and use your best imaginary way of possitioning your mind a few meters away from your head... then you'll get vibrations...   I've had hell occur in my body this way... Without OBE's but vibrations.. YEAH :) sorry for the blatant answer.

You can't force vibrations to happen. All I know is when they happen you must be ready to make use of them.
All you can do (at this stage) is to make the conditions favorable (as mentioned above). No heavy food, no drinks, a lot of sleep, no pains or ailments in the body and cheerful and positive mental atmosphere (no worries or hates etc).

If you can do this, next step is to try the "get up early and go to sleep again" method (Its time, someone should name it). Vibes will come.

Had an OBE recently, and it was without vibrations. I just felt a "surge" like som kind of energy was over me and it was basicly "Go, or... maybe wake up paralized, what do are u giving me?) But I chose "Go" it was'nt even morning, but like 1:00pm. I shot right out... awesome feeling. Got vission right away, and saw the room I was sleeping in (slept at my grandma's house) and "popped" into the ceiling and back down into the floor and felt stuck, and awoke....   lasted only like 10sec....   To me OBE's are awsome things to do, but the exit phase in itself is what gets to me...  thats a huge rush!

How about the 'DSI method' ? Stands for 'Deliberate Sleep Interruption.

I sometimes think people fail at OBE's because their goal is getting vibrations, not actual projection. Keep centered on the goal! Vibrations aren't that important, just a sign post and not everyone will experience them.

it's good to focus on vibrations and learning about how to anchor into that state of awareness.

first time I projected, didn't even know what the vibrations were and didn't experience them until months later. what caught me off guard was "intent, goal, objective" of projecting. it was all because of a book that I wanted to read so badly, but I need the rest. still resting on my mind was the desire to read the book.

everyone is different when it comes to projecting - if it is easier through dreams, false awakenings, or mind/awake body sleep methods.. all of them are right - just a matter of
placing value on intent and goals. simplistic and realistic for starting out!

been at this for over twenty years now, i still have short lived OBES or it never ends. doesn't matter if your a professional or beginner - it all comes down to sharing the experiences, data, and validating the consistencies which to sum it up from research = goals get you out, not just vibrations!

YES, it already has a name from eons ago, from Stephen LaBerge (I believe) WBTB method:
for "WAKE BACK TO BED" which is the lingo in the LD circles.

Wow, I've been offline for a Loooong time! Is Frank still with us, come back, pass over??? Just curio :?
Anyway, I hope everyone is fantastic and getting on with their life adventures.

I've been one of those whom OBE's occur spontaneously for periods of time, then disappear. I've done about 6 of the Monroe programs and can split/phase easily, but doing full-blown obe's at will have been challenging, and very frustrating at times (which then defeats the purpose). :cry:

Lately, however, I have combined the following routine and Bam (!) I'm always out and in full control of what I want, were to go, etc for as long (usually) as I want: Today I went out four times, all with good vibes (which I Never have when OBE spontaneously) and easy control and departure.
So, here 'tis:

1. Awake very early for the "WBTB" method - I try to get 3+ to 4 hours sleep before.
2. take a melatonin tablet (the pineal gland (your third eye) breaks melatonin down into 'pinoline' which is your bodies natural halucinogen - a real key to successful obe's/LD's etc)), btw, I do not take mel. when going to bed the night before.
3. and then doing a focus* (I highly stress "Focus" )exercise for up to two hours (a Ramtha method which involves some kundalini breathing to help center, expand and split if the mind starts to 'act up'), and then when I feel I am ready to drop off within moments after lying down, but still maintaining a good awareness (ie 'the split') I lie down flat but face up.


*note: during the focus, I do listen to hemisync, goldman's Harmonies; anything that helps hold trance and entertains/keeps quiet the mind.
Also, before the focus period, I do put in some exercise (your choice) to build up physical fatigue. this also helps to quite the mind and also the body wanting to go back to bed for a snooze.  If anyone (in college) used to get up for morning swim practice, military PT, run, etc... and then TRY to stay awake for your 8 am class???!!! Let alone Focus on 'what' class you're suppose to be in...?! :-o

Anyway, I know this is pretty lengthy method, but I am really pleased with My success so far!  :-D

Just want to add that I think there is 2 sorts of ways experiencing the exiting of a body (well some more depending on what is really going on). There is the "vibration" were the whole body seems to thump or "vibrate", as some say, as for me it feels like all chakras are active and thumping and I feel a troughout vibrating sensation in my whole body and I project out in waken state (might happen from a light sleep state). Or a strong "surge" were as you dont really feel any vibration, but feel as your body is energized and you WILL be shot out any moment, you still have a few seconds to wake up, if not your out.... always (as of me) happens during sleep. Any one care to share any knowledge or experience on this?

But as of the topic, yes, to me vibrations is when u have all your chakras running and thats a good time to project (again.. just to not strai from the topic).
