Why should I continue?

I've done hours of research on OBE's and watched every video on youtube and read tones regarding them. Conclusions I came up with. I know OBE's are real but to what extent? I've been practicing different techs to project, i've gotten to the point where my body does a big jerk at which I open my eyes startled. So I have a question to anyone and everyone who has projected before. Do you really KNOW your OBE's are from a different dimension or do you think they are products of your own mind? I know its hard to explain but try your best.

Do you want proof? Or do you want experience? You can only find proof for yourself, and you still won't know if it's "real". Or you can continue and experience  how it magical it feels  to be in a different dimension/world, and all the new exciting things you can do, see and feel there. And to enjoy it, even if you think they are product of your own mind.

You are the only one to make the choice to continue or stop, but I say: Take a chance!

If you *know* this then it appears you already have the answer to your question.

My belief (because I don't *know* for certain) is that projection is all in the mind... along with the physical universe, all "dimensions", and everything that materializes within them.

The question you should be asking, and you should be asking YOURSELF this (not us) is: Why shouldn't you continue?

Do we *REALLY* know?   Nope... nobody can.
Do we *FEEL* we know?  Yup, not a chance in hell we feel we're wrong about it.

Thanks guys, i'm just very careful when it comes to these things. I've put a lot of hours into research and method but little results. I'm going keep going with it because I know the only way is if I experience it myself. Took one year for Robert Monroe to convince himself, his intellectual side it was real. A lot of enlightened gurus speak of these dimensions, ill figure it out sooner or later. lol sometimes I wish I could die for 10 min so I can experience this. Sorry, English isn't my 1st or 2nd language.

Your question made me smile, because I used to ask this question not so long ago.
In my experience you will not know whether its all in the mind or there is really something out there just by OOBEs alone. When you are OBE the world you see is mostly a mixture of mental imagery and "some kind of reality" depending on how aware you are. So when you come back you can interpret it in both ways.

One thing is sure that you will start to doubt whether this world (physical) is real and is not a mental product.

There are some verification experiments done by enthusiasts but its one of those thing you have to test for yourself, no amount of proof is conclusive here. So go ahead and dive straight into it.

Proving something to anyone else is irrelevant and most of the time, pointless in my opinion.  The knowing comes from experience and being open minded to what you see.  Also, remember that your MIND is not your brain, and is what creates your experiences to what you need to learn.  These other realities are as real as the physical, in the sense that they are all projections from the collective mind. This isn't really "real" either

and honestly, i would rather be fully interested and inspired by "entertainment" like this than committing myself to some monastic lifestyle.
