are fictional worlds real on another plane

A few years ago when I first heard about astral projection, I read a thread that talked about books and stories that have been written, are just channeled information, and that what is written in the book or story is really happening on another plane. I have looked, and cannot find that thread, I do not even remember if it was on this board or another. I had a few thoughts and questions. Can we travel to those places, and if so can we travel to a certain time such as going to the first chapter, or to the fifth chapter, or do we just land there and take what we get. If we went to a story where the people were not human, would we cause alarm. And the one that has been on my mind all day, I recently read a preview of a story where a few inter dimensionally traveling humans landed on a version of earth inhabited by non humans, how do we know that these were not astral travelers from our earth. Also, how do we know that if we go to one of these stories, that we will not permanently change the story by our actions.

I havent been able to project yet, but when I do this is the first thing that I am going to try. How would someone go about reaching these worlds? If anyone has any theories, or more information about this, please tell me.

I think ultimately the Universe (or ourselves, even) will be able to provide any possible experience to us. Otherwise, the Universe would be limited. That means that any world that you can imagine or remember or think about, is possible to be experienced. My opinion!

I  remember a thread where a person was astral traveling to video game worlds (final fantasy) and was quite a popular thread until it was closed. From what he said the world was created from the game designers thoughts and was real to the people who inhabited it. Also he said there was a "gatekeeper" who allowed entrance the to astral plane and the visitor couldnt meddle in their affairs.

i remember ending up in one of the call of duty 4 maps once, where i saw 4 latino men playing instruments and smashing glass windows.  I tried to ignore them.
