Title: WALK technique ;)
Post by: neg removal5 on July 01, 2003, 15:46:27
Hi Inguma

So far I have only learned of one projecting technique.  I lie down and allow my body to go to sleep while barely keeping my mind awake.  Eventually my body becomes where I can't move it even though I'm still awake.  I also hear like some very clear vibrational humming noise as I'm close to my astral body being able to lift out of my physical body.  I then can usually either just sit up in my astral body and walk out of the physical body, or I will find myself floating horizontal above my physical body with my human mind then setting my astral body upright so that it can then move around.

I'm not really aware of any kind of projection techniqes besides that, but would be interested in knowing about other ways.  I know some people on this web page have been using some kind of music or devices to help projecting, but I don't know much about those devices or what they are all called.

Can you explain your technique up above a little bit better.

I think all this methods have a common denominator: they all require to be concentrating on something.. not letting your mind to wonder.. It doesn`t matter if you climb a rope, walk with your astral feet or or just floating in the air.. everyone can use the method that works best for him.

So in my opinion it`s not the method that counts, but the state of mind...

Interesting, Rob.

The problem with rope method could be caused by the alignment of the physical body. It seems better suited to be practised more in the sittiing position (if I'm not mistaken Robert did address this).I've also modified the rope method before like changing it to climbing stair or crawling on all four (which is like climbing stair horizontally). I've even used my finger while lying on my back to crawl away from my body (it's weird but work at that time).

However currently I'm working more on passive method. Feeling the vibration, floating and basking in the vibration (it seems this way I'm more often pulled out of my body, lazyness?). I changed it because I feel the quality of the OBE is different (at least in my case as I haven't feel how your obe feels like). My body feels hollow when I just forced myself out by method which forces pressure on the non-physical body (yep, ypu read that right, one force too many[:P]).

I also have developed this method of walking out of your body. However, I found that you have to walk around for quite a while feofre getting exit symptoms, also really imagine you are there, use all your senses. I believe this confuses the body.

Paul-Its not "cheating" to use techniques like these. Its just a different way of getting there. I understand, and partly agree that a pysically fit body will help in any type of metaphysical work, but its not a must. =/

Also, The walking technique sounds interesting! Im going to try it, but alter it a little so that im on a treadmill type thing. I think that would produce some nice results :D

For NegRemoval5: FOr someone like me, i think the best technique it´s the one that you use. I will try it but i need ask you something first. How can you put your body sleeping and your mind awaken? I tried to make something similar but, in order for my body sleep, i needed to get myself almost sleeping. I didn´t get into any trance state or something, and my mind was very tired, almost sleeping too. So, how can i let my mind lucid and my body tired?

thank you

So basically if you are lying down in bed then you imagine walking upwards out of your body, sort of like walking vertically along an imaginary wall?

Hey all
got a new projection method for y'all. Like rope, but instead of climbing out with your awareness hands, you have two awareness feet and walk yourself out of body. Also a very natural action...
I just tried it this morning, and got strong projection symptoms nice and fast. But my mind is a strange creature, so when I get anywhere the actions just screw up (wandering feet, uncontrolleable hands) GGGRR!!!
um, so yeah, enjoy!
