Can on stay in the astral planes? Is there a certain limit, or, just stay as long as you wish type of deal?

I suppose a part of you can stay in the astral plane by staying relaxed and day dreaming. The only problem though is if the projection is over, its difficult to project back to the same place.

High energy levels will keep you in the astral longer. Doing some energy work such as deep breathing and visualizing energy moving up through your chakras will help. New Energy Ways by Robert Bruce is a book well worth reading on this subject.

Keep in mind that time passes by differently there!  You can be there for what seems like hours and in reality, the whole thing took place in a couple of minutes on the physical level!  So time is really not an issue IMO.
