As my other posts I have been trying to get into the mind awake body asleep for some time now still with no results.Still waiting for my ocean surf cd in the mail, maybe that will help.I woke up around 2 nights ago around 530am,I tried think of obe or paralysis but fell asleep then woke up and felt a familiar woozhing noise in my head.I was having a small battle to stay awake when all of a sudden i had a feeling someone was to the left of my body while i was sleeing on my back i guess.I thought i saw my 3 year old son banging his hands on the bed.It was kind of foggy but i know i saw him in his pajamas and he was saying something but i couldnt make it out.All of a sudden in a flash i woke up in bed but my son was not near me,he was sleeping in the other room.It was around 530 in the morning.I fell back to sleep. When i woke up a few hours later i asked him if he came in my room and banged his hands on my bed,he said yes.I asked him what was he saying,he said daddy wake up.....I was amazed cause i think he was out of body or were we both.I did here the woozhing noises in my head and ears.Anyone have an idea what happened? Thanks
Coming from a person with no actual experience in achieving AP intentionally, I'd say you tuned in with your son's dream (most likely lucid) or in other words received his telepathic message. I believe we have a better access to our non-physical properties and abilities in our preschool age, that is, before we progressively start taking in society related concepts of any kind (social, moral, ethical, religious etc.) as they tend to create mental patterns we uncritically adopt as 'higher truths'... So, my guess would be you had a vivid dream during which your son managed to establish communication with you. I recently read the Frank Kepple resource (http://www.astralpulse.com/frankkepple.html) which gave me another view on AP/OOB and provided quite some information I relate to easier, as I consider myself more connected with his way of thinking and interpreting things... There's another page I find useful: http://brain.web-us.com/lucid/luciddreamingFAQ.htm and don't forget the Dream FAQ (linked at the top of the page).
Did you try to ask your son why he wanted you to wake up? Might be interesting to hear...
