I have little experience with out of body's, however it seems likely that these were either reality fluctuations, or you were merely experiencing a lucid dream. Have you thought about asking your mom when she placed the basket of clothes on the chair? This might help clarify. Good luck!

When I become awake in dreams or when I have dream visions in the morning or something every time I try to read stuff, it always changes in to some symbols or other text as i try to read, just like you said about the clock. I have never experienced this in an OBE, but then again a have never tried to read anything in that state (maybe I should try that the next time). It is a fluctuation but it does'nt need to have anything with reality to do. Did you ask your mom if the dog was barking while she was in the kitchen? Im no expert, but maybe you where initially having an OBE wich then turned into a lucid dream. I have also heard that one can OBE but most of what you see is just a dream. Your mind makes up whatever it feel is right... Anyways, im starting to confuse myself, so maybe I should just go to bed and OBE my butt outa' here.
But after an OBE it can be wise to reality check it by if you saw someone doing something, ask them what they did. If it was the same as you saw then you know it was real. Im also starting to think that RTZ projections arent realy "Real Time" Zone projections. I have been OBE'ing at day and when Im out it would be night outside. Maybe there is also huge or small time fluctuations. Remote viewers are also known to have seen into the future but not far, though. Thats still pretty amazing.

Hi Jeni,
You could ask your mom if she heard the dog barking incessantly the other morning.  This is non-invasive to your OBE privacy (if you want to keep it that way) and primes your mom to tell you more.  If she was UP, then she might just say something like, "Yeah!  I was up the other night and while I was in the kitchen, our dog started barking like crazy, running around the kitchen!  It was the wierdest thing."

... Just a thought!

Also, I've had multiple semi-conscious projections into our house and my parents house, both involving my wife's Astral Self.  Those have been interesting.  Your mom could have been "up" Astrally in a Dream/OBE, too!  Of course, then she would have seen you ... as my wife's Astral Self does with me!

... Just another thought!

Cheers!

Hi guys,

Thank you for your responses. I asked mom that day if she heard the dog barking, but she said "I don't remember..." Odd, huh?

I can say the lighting was correct. Everything had kind a blue cast to it, just like it really did that morning. Mom was wearing the same nightgown that I saw her wear in the experience. The Venetian blinds were in the same postion, too. Not unsual enough to exclude the coincidence factor, but down inside I know it was an OBE as it felt like one.

I wanna say now that I woke up at 6:50, not 7:30, as I think I remember rolling around in bed for 40 minutes afterward. Mom starts work at 7:30, and I seem to remember talking to Mom sometime that morning.

Darn these shadow memory errors!

I had an OBE this morning (yay!), which is the first I've had in awhile.

I suddenly became aware that I could turn what I was experiencing at the time into a conscious projection, almost like I knew I was out, but not 100% aware of it at the time (shadow memory issue?). Everything comes into focus and I'm flying around my dining room/kitchen. I try to go out the window above the kitchen sink, but I *smack* right into it and fall back. I then try to fly out the glass door in the computer room, but *smack* again I feel the impact into it/the Venitian (sp?) blinds. I get stuck to the blinds for a few seconds, almost like they are holding me back. It was the weirdest feeling being stuck to them, almost like I was stuck in melted plastic.

I spin around and go out into the kitchen, where I see my dog. He starts barking at me, as if he could see me. Mom is also out there doing something in her light blue nightgown. I then realise I should fly away somewhere else cuz the dog's gonna keep barking if I don't. I "lay down" on the chair in the living room and put my eyes on the TV (don't remember if it was on or not). I then get up and fly into the kitchen again, where I look at the clock in an attempt to compare what I see to what the clock says when I "wake up". I memorise the shape of the numbers instead of what they mean in an attempt to remember better (I think it either said 1:17 or 7:11)

I float into the next room and back again to look at the clock again. This time, the readout keeps changing everytime I look at it, and then changes *as* I look at it. I find myself looking at it at different angles, trying to get the right one (figuring that I may be seeing the reflection of the LCD panels in the light), but it keeps changing on me.

I think the experience turned into a dream at this point.

When I woke up at 7:30 a.m., I found that there was a laundry basket on the chair I "lied down in". Is it possible to have "reverse reality fluctuations" (for lack of a better term), i.e. things not being there that should? (It's also possible that she put it there before going to work)...I may have discussed this before, but I can't remember due to being wrapped up in this current experience...

Take care,

Jeni
