I have smoked herb regulary for the past 9 years and have had hundreds of fully conscious OBE's over the past 7 years. If you read my first post titled "what's your opinion on this technique?" you will see that actually NOT smoking weed all day causes me to have fully conscious OBE's. In answer to your question that if herb damages your astral body I would say that it does not because I have been astral projecting for 7 years and my experiences are getting more amazing, and vivid all the time, especially over the past 2 years during which I have had controlled OBE's by using my technique I told you about (not smoking all day). This method works for about 3 days and then my OBE's hapen at random like they would for my first 5 years of experience. I would be against actually using marijuana during a atempt at projection. It has never worked for me. It seems like it works against projection when you are high. I do enjoy meditation and energy work though while using herb. I think one thing you should trust is nature and her gifts to man and using any of her tools will not give you bad karma as long as you use them properly and with love.
the more help you have w/ something the less control you are going to have over/with it.
Maybe it's just me, but I find my mind wonders too much when intoxicated. I can't concentrate on relaxing. For people like me, I definately would not recommend attempting an OBE while intoxicated.
I'm not sure about it damaging your astral body or not, but it sure does a number on your physical lungs!

i find you get dependant on it, the sensations are so much more vivid when your high, but when your sober YOU alone have to induce the sensations, and youll be thinking "i wish i had some weed, this is boring"
the slightest alteration in my physical body will help tremedously w/ the other oobe related sensations. if i take a benadryl the energy sensations that accompany a trance state just call me. give it a shot. just take two of those or two tylenol pm's half an hour before you do your energy work. i believe the antihistimine in the benadryl and the sleep aid in tylenol pm may be the same thing.

Hey , if weed is indeed some way to help in projection conciously.. does it hurt your astral body ? meaning ... you wont be able to have an OOBE eventualy ? Or .. does it give you bad karma in the karmic law system or something ? What I'm trying to ask is .. if poeple say weed helps in projection , is it really that much of a BAD BAD BAD thing to use it to project? Even if you dont smoke it that often ? ( like once every 2 weeks or so ? ) I'm worried cause if try weed , I may not have an OOBE or something cause I may have damaged my astral body already... can anyone clarify ?
