Today when I took a nap, I got out two times. The first time was normal and the second time I think I had forgotten I had a heating pad on me and felt these small "fireballs" on my mid section going up. The main reason I "freaked" was because (this is where it gets weird); I had just dreamed about throwing Pikmin (hint: Nintendo) at a fire / fireball breathing creature. I thought the creature was awaiting me in the astral until I actually realized that that was my heating pad. However, both of these times I could actually feel my astral body getting out. The second, where the fireball experience happened, I tried to imagine my self climbing a rope / ladder and the vibrations got super fast and I could hear a ringing in my ears.
A question: does the astral plane usually feel "wet-ish" for you when you enter it?
It can feel thousands of different things.
Does it usually feel 'wet-ish' to you?
Most of the time it does feel "wet-ish". By "wet-ish", I mean when I'm getting out, it feels like I'm getting into lighter than normal water.
Wow.. it's amazing how the use of a description can completely mean something totally different. To me wet-ish conjures up being damp and cold.
SO you could have easily said... "Does the astral plane usually feel like you are getting into lighter than normal water?"
To which my answer would have been...
What do you mean? Like thick and without apparent gravity?
That's great. I have never experienced wet-ish in my astral plane.

No, it feels ethereal. Meaning lighter, less solid than physical, airy. That is how I know it is not a dream or a hypnagogic dream.
