zecharia sitchin's the earth chronicles series. it includes the 12th planet (introduction book, expains tons of stuff about the 10th planet and its people), the stairway to heaven, the wars of gods and men, the lost realms, and the cosmic code. he also authored the lost book of enki, genesis revisited, and divine encounters.

start with the 12th planet and read through the rest of the earth chronicles series in order. im on the 3rd book. ive finished the 1st and 2nd but i havent been to the store to buy the 3rd [:(] i know the gist of it, though. the magic of sitchin is his vast listing of sources and detailed information.

if thats the kind of stuff you want to find, sitchin is the best way to go, i promise.

Blondie, I have the impression you know more about it than what you let know in your question. My advise is, whatever your path takes you, please stay away from you know whom.

No-leaf-clover, my message was for Blondie, and she knows very well, so ask her. By the way, stay away from oyster, you may get intoxicated, especially if they're blue, unless you want to join the cult.

NLC,

Did you ever see the tv movie version of Stephen King's, The Stand?
In the beginning, after the guard flees the base with his family, there is a great scene where you hear Don't Fear The Reaper as the camera pans around through the Government Bio Warfare Base which is full of dead scientists and workers who fell victim to a biological agent that was accidently released.

I loved the book, so I was nervous that hollywood might ruin the movie.  But as soon as I heard that BOC guitar riff and that cowbell, I knew that I was in for a treat.  [:D]

P.S. I'm sorry that this is off topic.  Let me see if I can link it in.

Hmmm... The Sumarians...  Didn't they once open for Blue Oyster Cult in the late 70's?

lol. the sumerians? think they hit their peak about.. 3 or 4 thousand years ago.. so i doubt they opened for boc [:)] but who knows.

sounds like an interesting movie. i found a version of astronomy on winmx that had stephen king on it. he just said something like 'astronomy, from imaginos, by blue oyster cult' and then the song started (maybe stephen king's a big boc fan?). if you've ever heard the original version of astronomy, look for the imaginos version. at first i didnt know what to think of it.. but now i love it. it keeps a steady dynamic level and tempo through the whole thing. if they could somehow take the imaginos version and put the last bit of the original on the end, and make it sound natural, that would be one awesome song [:D]

funny how this topic's gone to blue oyster cult and stephen king [:I]

I am not really sure myself who "whom" is either. I do know a lot more than my question asks. A friend of mine told me all about the Sumerians about a year ago and I thought he was full of it, that was until I found this website. I just find it very interesting, I just want to find a meaning to life. I need answers of why I am here. :)

I am very interested in learning more about the Sumarian prophecies, the 10th planet, and why they beleive that we were created by "aliens". Please let me know of a book that will sum it up for me, it would be greatly appreciated.[|)][8D]
