I'd say these "visualization" techniques are one of the major reasons schools to learn this stuff are often discredited, simply because they don't work very well, as described in the NEW. People think visualization is using the 3rd eye in some form more often than not when they start out.

Anyways, here is a sample visualization "class":
G'morning class! Today we'll be working on evergy building! (yay) Ok, everyone calmly get into a comfortable position. Now close your eyes, and visualize your spine is a rod with the ground and tap the energy from there. Breathe in and out as you think about this...in...out.

Now class, I want you to picture a giant pulsing ball in front of you, you can see it through your eyelids and it's quickly flashing blue and white...blue and white. Now grab it and hold onto it...slowly visualize yourself pulling it to your stomach and it's lifting you high in the air as you're doing this...(and so on)

The reasons why I don't like methods like this, is not only are they vague to the beginner, but they build energy too slowly unless you know EXACTLY what you need to do to make something like this work in your mind. If you still want info on these techniques though, I suggest you invest in a cheap meditation book (well I mean cheap as in low quality, there should be quite a few at amazon.com), or look for "Guided Meditation" courses in your area. I wish ya good luck, and don't let my pesky opinions get in your way either! Have fun [8D]
I come prepared...with COOKIES! No, you can't have one!

I've been practicing natural qi gong for about 2 years and might suggest you to try the visualisation technique. It is REALLY important to build up your visualisation habits, but you'd better try a simple visualisation first- like an orange for example. Try doing it for about 10 minutes a day for about a week or two and you'll see that practice makes better. as for the "lower storage center" - my I visualise it like a Moon or a Sun - depending on the part of the day. I "see" it rotating slowly (that's better) at the clock direction. Try to catch all the fragments on its surface. From my poor experience in astral projection I could say that the visualisation methods work best if you are concentrated enough. Good luck! Good dreams! [:o)]

Hi people, lay on me all the techniques you know on how to use visualization to raise energy into the lower storage center please.

I want to play with these until I'm proficient at NEW.

Thanks in advance.
