I'm a very direct person. The physical world is not direct. If I want a car, I have to go get a job, insurance, tag, blah blah blah, and months later get a car. In astral, I see the effects of my intent immediatly. I like to take the fastest path. If knowledge exists in astral but not here now, it is fastest to learn how to retrieve knowledge from astral than to invent that knowledge based on the physical past.
You bring up some good points. When I was searching the web for Remote Viewing, I came across a OBE link. I just clicked it and saw what it was. The first thing it said was OBE's change your life by telling you what you really are and things of that nature.
I my self did not have any OBE's yet. I hope I do soon though!

For those of us who can get "out" on purpose, I think it reveals a certain kind of Will . . . Willingness . . . sense of purpose (with regard to OBE) . . . perhaps bravery . . . that may be absent in people who "try" (such a weak word!) but don't make it.
...but your having them mustard seed...it is not the amount I'm warmly looking upon, but the fact that you can talk about them...in my eyes sometimes one is as good as a thousand...but that's just me. Nice point you got Beavis...you have me thinking there!

I've tried yo project on many occasions, but can only get as far as minor vibes. A few nights ago, I made an attempt, gave up after an hour or so, and went to sleep. I awoke in a daze later on but instead of lying calmly on my bed I had vibes that made it feel as though I was on a space shuttle as it hurtles towards space. I suppose I fell back asleep because I awoke again with sunlight streaming into my eyes. Thinking back upon it, it was an extremely humbling experience that I won't soon forget. Talking with you guys (and gals) and the whole attempting OBE thing has definitaly changed me for the better[:)]

For those who have had O.B.E.'s what do you think that represents about you, your nature, or where your going? I've always wondered WHAT do O.B.E.'s indicate. They are very mystical in nature and don't happen to everyone. This is not an ego induced trip, however, a morecontemplative and warm approach to ourselves and our development. Now, O.B.E.'s can happen to everyone and anyone, yet, why aren' people left and right talking about them. Is it your character? Has your personality, view on life and the general way you carry yourself more balanced? I don't really believe in the word 'evolved' for that term can be taken for granted. Is this just fun and games or mastering your mind and self?? I want you guys to sit back for a second...and realize what you are doing! Give yourself credit. I wish to say that I'm proud of you, I don't care if I don't know you...but your general development from talking on this forum needs to be acknowledged. I'm by no means saying that you guys are looking for compliments, I'm just giving them! teehee. I think it is a bit more than just relaxing your mind and 'doing the steps' for a lack of a better words. You are by far more than just an O.B.E.'r. What are you? Ask yourself.
