How do YOU walk through walls?

Astral Dynamics gave me a few ideas for conquering this obstacle.  How have you guys made yourself go through doors and walls?  I have done it once and I don't know how I did it.  My last 3 or so projections I get stuck.  I even tried going through windows and ceilings...

Hmm I don't really give it much thought. I usually start off by pushing through with my hands first and then pushing the rest of my body through (with my hands in front of me.) I always feel some form or resistance at first through which I push through.

Nay

That is why it works for you MisterJingo, you really don't give it much thought. :)

Once you start thinking..oh boy, I can't do this, it's impossible...you are done for.

Markulous: I say just keep trying, eventually it will be common place for you to be trying and you'll just slip right through one time and not even realize it.  :D

like the nike moto, just do it!

Well what sucks is I can usually only hold a projection for about 20-30 seconds max before I get sucked back into my body.  So by the time I get away from my body and I get to my living room to leave I don't have a whole lot of time to experiment.  I'm not sure if I was further away I would have more time.

It is only because you believe the wall to be real markulous.  You don't give it a thought to move seamlessly through the air, yet down to atomic level there is no difference between the air and the wall.  Both consists of atoms consisting 99.9% of empty space.  Don't allow your mind to create illusions for you, no thought goes into air, no thought should be wasted on the wall.  Keep your mind quiet and all will be well.

I've a mixed bag of sensations whilst going through walls/doors/windows.  Occasionally, I haven't managed to do it, which led me to believe that I was still physical!

I usually have the type of experience as MisterJingo.  The wall feels solid at first, and then if you push a little more, it starts to give.

Here's an extract of an OBE I had ages ago about what it feels like going through a window.  I deliberately focused on the sensations, so I would be able to describe it to people when they asked.

I was very conscious, had perfect sight and was thinking clearly.  I thought, "this is amazing, it's real, it's me, and I'm over here moving around without my body!!"  Whilst I was very clear-headed, I didn't have an ultimate plan.  When I got to the window, I thought I'd push my head out to see what it felt like.  I did push it out half way.  The top of my head (which was outside) felt cooler.  I then moved my head back in slowly and focused on the feeling as I moved through the window pane.  It was a sort of 'zzzzzzzzz' feeling, very mild.  It's hard to describe because I can't think of anything remotely like it.  I suppose the nearest I can come up with is when you have that cleaning instrument at the dentist that goes along your teeth.  It doesn't hurt, but it makes you (especially your head) go 'ddddddddd'.  Well, it's a bit like that but much much softer, gentler and milder, almost unnoticeable.  It was only because I deliberately went through slowly and focused on the sensation that I am able to describe it.

Robert gives great advice about this problem (which I had as well)  Don't worry about how short, in fact keep it short.  Before your normal 20-30 seconds is up, go back to your physical and get back in, ON YOUR OWN.  Keep doing this, keep it short and sweet and pretty soon you'll start to notice your staying out longer and getting further and further away from your physical body. :)

It really is matter of practice...practice and more practice.

Good luck!

Sarah:  Nice experience!  I found that I would feel going through ceilings and such but really don't feel much from a window, wonder why?  Less particles in a window???   And believe me, I've done the hitting thing off the ceiling when I first attempted it.  Well, actually it was more of me jumping up to fly through the ceiling only to hit my head and float back down to the floor.  (I know I posted about this when it first happened)  I just kept bouncing off until I got through.. :P

I imagine if I had a guide or whomever standing there watching my progress, I offered up quite the chuckle...  I looked like a ball bouncing off the floor hitting the ceiling, coming back down, only to jump right back up and hit it again...

Nay, I don't normally feel much from a window, but because I'd slowed it so that my head was moving through at about an inch a second, I did have those sensations.

  That's very funny.  It's interesting that you didn't think about the floor, and yet it stopped you.  I often wonder about that.  I rather fancy exploring the inner planet, rather than zooming out.

Good for you for persevering with getting through the ceiling!!

If I can't get through a wall, I have to check that I'm out-of-body.  What I normally do is push my hands through the soft parts of my face.  My fingers usually go into the soft parts, like the cheeks.  If I have guides watching, they're probably scratching their heads and looking at other saying "what on earth is that girl up to?" (I'm a little odd...)

These days, I have no trouble with walls, windows and stuff - I go through them as if they aren't there.
