Hi,

I'm a new user and already bothering you with questions...

Well, I sort of got in to a debate with a friend a few days ago about astral travel and OBEs and stuff... He doesn't believe in any of this and I very firmly do and we just can't agree, so I started wondering if I could "prove" it to him by visiting his dreams...

I've astral travelled successfully maybe five or so times now, so I'm by no means an expert here, but I'm learning to control it better all the time, and I was hoping that someone could give me some hints on how to visit a person while their dreaming... He's a very close friend of mine and I don't really like him thinking I'm crazy  :|

Thanks for your help, anyway... (I also appreciate any tips you could give me!)

Why not just show him this forum site, although I personally didnt believe it until I actually did it... but maybe reading other peoples stuff and the process to do a projection, will make him have some belief in it. Maybe show him or talk about robert bruce stuff thats what got me started. When I asked about A P my brother sent me this article(maybe different site, but same thing)

Theres 8 parts to the article.

Edit:
As for dream entering, which I forgot to mention, sounds really hard in my opinion, so again what I said above might be a good idea. Dream entering article, mixed with many different things, from is it wrong to do that to is it possible... I think ...read anways.

Hi,

I tried to show him this site and some others on the web but he just said it's bulls**t and that I'm crazy if I actually believe in it... But I guess I'll try to convince him again... Thanks for the articles though!

Nay

You really shouldn't try and convince anyone anything, it just makes them push the concept even further away.

I say do your thing and let him start seeing the changes in your life.  He'll either not be your friend for long or he'll be begging you to explain things to him. :)

Hi, I'm new too  :-).

Is your friend okay with you trying? Because if so, go for it. Otherwise, I agree with TalaNay. When you start getting into these things it is really necessary to understand that everyone isn't going to believe you and that it is okay if they don't. Not everyone is supposed to. I don't have any friends who can do these things or who even really care to do them--so I'm on the crazy boat too.  :-D

But I'll tell you what I do--this is assuming you are able to become lucid. When you are lucid and are sure you won't wake up, call up a door in front of you. Then write the name of your friend on the door and "call" him or her. Kind of wait a moment until you sense them, or try to tune into them. Then when you open the door and step through, you should be able to find them. The whole thing should take at least 2 minutes because you have to make sure you really are tuned into their dream. Of course you might have to try a few times and it all depends on whether or not your friend has good recall. Oh, and you might want to keep this in mind: this is called Dream Walking and some people consider it dangerous. I don't, but some do. Hope this helps you!
